Beautiful location. Great staff. Lovely boutique hotel that makes you feel welcome. Always room around the pool, always space for dinner if you choose to eat in. Rooms are superb, very spacious. Only a short 10 euro taxi ride into Ag Nic. Been here 3 times now, has become our go to place in Crete

My husband and I recently spent 2 nights at The Island Concept. It is a beautiful boutique resort in a gorgeous setting. Our room was very comfortable, with a private pool and seafront view. Breakfast was great, with multiple choices. We ate dinner at the restaurant both nights, and the food was delicious, with a variety of dishes. The outdoor setting for meals was lovely, and they have a nice outdoor bar. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was very relaxing and felt very secluded from the rest of the Crete beach scene.

We had 6 nights here and had a wonderful time. A stunning location overlooking the bay and far off mountains. Our room was huge with its own small pool and large terrace together with sunbeds and wonderful views. Separate living room and TV and a bathroom that could have been bigger perhaps with a bath would have helped . Lovely clean and spotless decor. I found the bed a little on the hard side but the hotel kindly provided some duvets to go over the mattress. Outside is gain perfect , lovely white furniture , great bar and oh so friendly and helpful staff . Good breakfast. Overall a lovely relaxing stay.

Fantastic view, great location and very friendly staff. Breakfast was good, nice to be able to select from a menu rather than a buffet and restaurant has a great view. Dinner there was nice although food was a little over cooked. Very good Cretean wine selection. Room (Santorini) was a good size with great outdoor terrace with jacuzzi and also had a balcony. Definitely a highlight.

Absolutely stunning hotel which has everything… glorious views, quiet pool, great bar, fabulous restaurant, chic rooms and wonderful staff. Definitely one of the top hotels we have been to in all our years of travel. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful place to unwind and relax. Lovely hotel all the staff were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Christos, who made us feel extremely welcome, and for his local knowledge and recommendations. Thanks, to Maria for helping us with our room on the last day. We had breakfast and lunch every day in the hotel and the quality was excellent thanks for Margianna for your warmth and kindness. We loved the local wines she recommended. The whole stay was perfect! Thanks to the whole team for an excellent stay.

What a beautiful hotel inside and out. Our room had the most incredible view, lots of space and the comfiest of sun loungers by a long shot. All of the staff we came across wanted to make your holiday special from Maria to Nikos and the brilliant bar tenders (I’m so sorry I didn’t get their names) and the lovely housekeepers too. A very talented chef too. Amazing food! A calming, relaxing vibe about the place that is difficult to find and we loved it. We would definitely recommend and return to!

Just returned from a week at The Island Concept and what can I say... Our experience was fabulous from start to finish. All the staff really friendly, helpful and pay attention to detail. Our room was very well designed with a great view over the water towards Agios Nikolaos and the view from the restaurant towards the mountains was even more stunning. Enjoying that view whilst having breakfast was a great start to each day. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch & dinner at the hotel - the latter with some superb local wines. It was great to be able to choose between the pool or beach (water rather chilly) on lazy days and it's an easy walk along the neighbouring beach to the town. Ok, it's not cheap but you certainly get what you pay for.
