Miramare Resort & Spa

Lovely hotel with great views. We went half board and were very pleased with the food and service. Rooms were very clean and lovely apart from small shower. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxed (April). Agios Nikolos was a beautiful town to potter around. We hired a car and would recommend day trips to: Spinalonga Island, Plaka, Sitia, Richtis Gorge, Cretan Olive Oil Farm Agios, Vassilakis Estate Free Olive tour, Krista and Ancient City of Lato.

Highly impressed with everything. Food outstanding beautifully fresh every meal. Facilities incredible for what ever you desire. Spa treatments so professional and relaxing with a lovely girl EVI to help along the way. Bed rooms all kitted out with the essentials, always kept immaculate. All inclusive drinks were the best I have ever had the options for cocktails,straights and beers all exceptional. Staff all couldn’t do enough with what ever you desire, I brought my 8 month old and they are the friendliest people you could possibly meet. Views are spectacular. Highly recommend

Stayed last week at Miramare with my children. We mostly had a very positive experience. The resort was lovely and had amazing sea views throughout. The pools were always very clean. The pool cleaner works hard! Unfortunately the toilet by the Aegeon pool wasn't cleaned during the day. So by the afternoons it had used toilet paper all over the floor. We were all inclusive and the food was excellent. One night I had a whole seabass straight off the grill! Lots of salads, fruit and hot foods to choose from. I'm pescatarian and my eldest daughter is vegetarian and we always managed to find something to eat. The only down side is the labelling of food wasn't very good and it was a bit of Russian roulette if we were going to accidentally eat meat!! Breakfast had so much variety to choose from. We were originally placed in a sea view room directly under the bar. The view was lovely but unfortunately the DJ music blasted through our room and my youngest daughter was upset because she was so tired and couldn't sleep and my older autistic daughter was overwhelmed. I spoke to the receptionist who just shrugged her shoulders at me and told me to come back in the morning. We were very upset by the lack of sympathy and customer service. I not sure why the hotel would put a young child in a room directly under a DJ! The next morning however, we spoke to the loveliest receptionist who not only moved us to a quiet room, but upgraded us to a suite with a pool. The room was so lovely and I can't tha nk that lovely receptionist enough. She saved our holiday! We had rain and storms so decided to pay to use the indoor pool one morning. Unfortunately it wasn't heated and was absolutely freezing which was a shame. It would have been nice of the pool was heated. The children's club was awful! The playground had broken equipment and the club was dirty and filled with broken toys. It looked like it had been left neglected! Very disappointed! This is car hire at the hotel which is very handy for exploring the island. The walk into town was only 20 mins and easy enough. There is a beautiful sandy beach next to the hotel and we found a beautiful cove.

I cannot fault this hotel we have just returned from 11 nights stay we stopped in room 525 which had an excellent Seaview, the rooms are spacious and clean, the maid was amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. We arrived at approximately 2.30 in the morning to be greeted by a lovely member of staff who took us to our room. The hotel has two excellent size swimming pools which are good for length swimming a further smaller Pool and a pool in the spa area. The hotel is quite elevated hence the fabulous views from the restaurant and bar area, there are lots of steps but the hotel does have buggies that will pick you up on request from your room and bring you back down to the main reception. The hotel is about 10/15 minute walk from the main town so you’re far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk. Food there was plenty of choices, service from the staff in the restaurant was so efficient. Overall we had a wonderful holiday and will definitely return. On a final note I have to say the staff are a credit to the hotel absolutely amazing.

Had a fantastic time here Hotel Room Food Staff were all absolutely perfect Only one thing that let this fabulous place down was the one member of staff on reception Maria who we found to be rude and not interested on the 2 occasions we had to ask for help but this wouldn’t put us off returning

Spa itself and staff were/are lovely. Good back massage and was told I could use the sauna facility on the day of a booked treatment. This is great I thought, I went for my things and came back 10 mins later to find all the doors locked! I’ve now been accompanied by a lady wanting to access the spa also and have now been waiting 40 mins and the doors are still locked. Some people came to book and finding the doors locked, left without booking. Lovely little spa if you can get into it!
