Aquila Elounda Village Resort, Suites & Spa

Went here as season started early May which ment everything was just getting going. seemed very unfocused on guests. However Konstantinos with his fabulous smile in the Mirabelo at lunch and the Symposium in the evening restored our holiday here. Very clean and well kept resort. App is a little behind the times but can see it working. However this removes even more of the lacking personal touch expected.

If you want to relax the place is great and me and my friend had a fantastic time. I wanted to give a special mention to Konstantinos ❤️ he brought us much joy when serving us at the restaurants and is a fabulous part of the Aquila community/staff. He really went out of his way to make our trip here feel extra special. All the staff are lovely too! Thanks for another fab stay! Hannah & Bella

We had an unforgettable stay at Aquila Elounda Village, and from the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The views are breathtaking, the grounds are immaculate, and the atmosphere is truly relaxing – perfect for a peaceful getaway. What really stood out, though, was the amazing service, especially from Konstantinos. His professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made a lasting impression on us. Whether it was offering helpful local tips, remembering our preferences, or just his genuinely friendly demeanor, he went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and cared for. Staff like him make all the difference and elevate the entire experience. The food was delicious, the pool areas serene, and the private beach a real treat. We left feeling completely recharged and already dreaming of our return. Highly recommended!

We travelled to Elounda Village Hotel via Jet2 and stayed in a Mythica Seaview Suite. Room 203. This provided is with many privileges. This hotel is one of the best we have stayed in and is worthy of its 5 stars From the moment we arrived up to the time we left, nothing could have been done better. The hotel and grounds are spotlessly clean and well maintained, and our room was cleaned and the towels changed daily. All 3 restaurants served different menus, and the food was always hot. The Synopsium and Mirabella were excellent. The staff were, without exception, attentive, considerate, and friendly and would always spare the time to answer questions and assist in any way they could. We celebrated 2 life events whilst here and both were marked by the management. Thank you for these pleasant surprises. The hotel is about 40 mins walk from Elounda itself and is a pleasant walk. We will be recommending this holiday to our friends. Thanks for a wonderful holiday.

Never had a Cretan massage before so didn’t know what to expect. The treatment lasted around 45 minutes and lots of beautifully-scented oils were used head to toe. Eleni applied just the right amount of pressure and I came out feeling so much better. All the tension in my neck was gone! Would highly recommend

Me and my partner had a lovely week away at this adult only resort. We arrived very late at 4 am and was pleasantly greeted by the reception. Check in went very smoothly. The only thing I would say was that it would’ve been nice for them to have some lights snacks or some drinks available for those arriving late as we arrived starving. Room was fair - could do with a bit of reorganisation but had everything you needed. The mini bar was stocked up every day which comprised of a cup of bottle of water and a couple of cans of fizzy drink. Aircon was very good but beware if you open the doors and don’t shut them properly your Aircon will go off as it acts as motion sensor. As soon you arrive make sure you download the app and make sure you quickly book your a la carte premier restaurant spaces - please get booked up so quick so you want to book them within the first 24 hours of being here. Both a la carte restaurants are lovely (Mirabello and symposium) There is a all-inclusive premium part of the menu anything with a house symbol is included within your package and anything with a price means that you will have to pay extra. This is the same with the drinks menu throughout the resort as well. The buffet had a good selection across all meals. The drink selection is also very good. You can visit Mirabello for lunch also but they do not take bookings. You can also get sandwiches at the beach bar, but I personally didn’t enjoy them but my partner did. I do not recommend you book on the cocktail making course. You are just shown how to make a cocktail and then you taste them. It was a very dull experience and me and my partner managed to sneak out halfway through. Plenty of sun lounges around the pool, but we spent most of our time on the private beach. There is also waiters that come and take your order but this often took a long time for drinks to arrive. The staff are all wonderful and helpful, but I do not think there is enough of them which means you can often wait quite a long time for some drinks at the bar and when being served. There is a gym, but it’s very very limited. A few cardio machines. A cable machine but no attachments and no free weights and no barbells. I managed to train cardio but my partner did not manage to train all week. It would’ve been nice if the gym was better well equipped. It looks a lot bigger on the website and looks like it has a lot more equipment. This is definitely in need of re-modernisation. On the last day we had a very late flight but was called up the day before to arrange a shower so we can freshen up before our flight. The hotel was also quite secluded. You were about a 45 minute walk to the nearest town which was mostly full of bars and restaurants. Me and my boyfriend had a lovely time at this hotel and would rate out stay 8/10.
