I had planned to bring two groups here in March & April 2020. Initially, Walter's communication was great and so I paid a deposit to Walter in the amount of $605.00 USD. Then, the pandemic hit and I was forced to postpone. I emailed Walter when the borders were closing to inquire about my options for my payment/postponement. I never received a reply. I emailed him again in November 2021 since I'm finally bringing a group in March 2022. It is now January and Walter has not replied, so my money seems lost. Had I received a response, I would have gladly been generous given all of the economic suffering people have endured. But zero response from the owner is unacceptable and poor business practice. The hotel may be nice for a stay, but I wouldn't pay anything upfront.
