Beautiful little boutique hotel we’ve stayed at many times and really enjoyed. Unfortunately on the most recent visit, the service really fell off a cliff. We stayed for 4 nights and the bed wasn’t made once. Toilet paper wasn’t refilled and getting more was a major episode. Same with water bottles. The coffee in the morning was abysmal on the few occasions when we could persuade them to make it—lukewarm and watery. Often there was no staff there at all, although admittedly we stayed over Christmas. We very much hope that management changes gears but would stay elsewhere next time.

They had overbooked since it was a holiday weekend and didn't let us know until we arrived. They said they'd send us to a private house and that they were very sorry. We waited about an hour and then someone took us to a beautiful house with a pool in the backyard!! We were beyond excited and were very impressed. They lose one star for overbooking & not letting us know sooner, but they fixed the situation really well. They took such good care of us even though we weren't technically guests there!

We spent 3 nights at Casa Copal. The room was beautiful, the bed very confortable. Staff was very friendly :-) The garden and the area of the swimming pool are awesome! We slept very well and would come back there with pleasure.

Muy agradable ambiente y muyyy bonitas instalaciones!! Recomiendo ir entre semana muy tranquilo y relajado. La alberca climatizada, puedes permanecer ahí durante la noche. El personal muy amable y todas las mañanas preparan un café que se puede disfrutar junto a la alberca

Hotel Boutique muy recomendable para relajarse unos días en la Ribera de Chapala. Cómodas habitaciones, alberca climatizada y buen servicio. Cuenta con pocas habitaciones. A tomar en cuenta: No hay aire acondicionado. Me gustó mucho. Seguramente volveré!!!
