I can only rate this establishment 2 stars as the first things to greet us upon check in were 2 live cockroaches in our room The concierge was the most helpful person who first killed them and then went to find a cleaner for us..we went to reception to report it, expecting to be moved but were told by the manager "what do you expect when this is Africa" - and only after my husband expressed his disdain with that comment was any action done - mind you we were only offered a clean as they insisted there were no other rooms we could be moved to. We were given a free 30 min massage which consisted of being doused in oil and the lightest touch ever..also the masseuses didn't leave the room when we were undressing which is unusual We noticed dead fleas in the shower that same evening, possibly a drainage issue 3 days later, a third cockroach is spotted and another large live insect and only then were we moved rooms - no apology given that time we noticed. In the interim, our food boxes weren't properly disposed off..we didn't want to leave a takeaway box in our room and housekeeping decided instead to leave it at the top of the stairs outside of our room for 2 days! We had paid for a Seaview junior suite and the Seaview wasn't even present It's such a shame that this was our experience as the location of the hotel is good, the beach was lovely and buffet was alright..there is a lack of choices for restaurants onsite considering they only offer half board or all inclusive stays. Also most of the staff we encountered were helpful apart from the ones mentioned above But the fact that it felt we weren't being taken seriously and the situation wasn't being acted on quickly is a concern for me on the general hygiene standards of the hotel And now we're trying to get some compensation but the hotel manager is ignoring emails so sorry can't recommend this one!

We have enjoyed a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms are spotless, the pool areas are lovely and the staff are wonderful. The food was amazing. A big thanks in particular to Henda, who was so kind to my children, and made them rose petal swans every! would highly recommend this hotel

All the staff are so friendly! Special thanks to Rawdha for her lovely service and all her help! The food and drink selection/variety is great for all, and we loved the different entertainment too! Thank you for making our stay amazing (thanks to Mohamed too for service and Aladin for quad bikes!)

The hotel is great and the people that work there are very friendly and helpful. Everything is spotless althought there was one corredor that had workers and there was quite alot of dust which we avoided by going to the room through the outside gardens. The bedroom staff, even though they didn't speak hardly any English were very kind and they gave you all that you needed to make your stay confortable. Swimming pools amazing and you was always offered anything you wanted to drink while you were lying on the sun beds. A really amazing experience and I recomend people to go there. It's save and the people are extremely helpful even outside the hotel facilities. There's lots to do and you have an extensive variaty on the timetable of sports if you want to join in and the monitors are so loving and helpful. Will repeat for sure.

Lovely stay, everyone is very friendly and helpful from the moment you arrive. We had problems with our safe and they came straight up to sort it, had to ask for extra tea bags and milk but was given it without any worries. It was the biggest bathroom and towels were changed daily, there was soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion available. Went on a tour with Freddy to the market, he works in the hotel and is very charismatic, he drove us and another couple in his car and was chatty and friendly throughout. Massive choice of food although it can be warm rather than hot there is a microwave you can use if you want. Would I go back, yes without a doubt. Good time to go as wasn’t heaving but was busy. Our cleaner was lovely and even gave me a hug on our last day to say goodbye. Only issue was someone very drunk obviously couldn’t find their room and then got into an argument with someone else. . . the language from the drunk woman was aggressive and disgusting! Within half an hour or so someone from the hotel came and spoke to both parties. Would I go back, yes most definitely.
