Pretty new hotel a short drive from Akureyri city. Rooms are very spacious and clean. There's a common kitchen, and laundry room. Hotel will only start to serve breakfast from 1 June. So during our stay, there's no meal served. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is located on a mountain and you get a great view of akureryi city and the mountain view. Conveniently located with nearby supermarkets and restaurants.

This clean and tidy, newly renovated hotel is quite empty during the summer season. Since it’s a self-service hotel, there’s no service. However, there’s a 24/7 shared dining hall equipped with some utensils, cutlery, a fridge, and a microwave. There’s also a ski locker and a laundry machine and tumble dryer (both 24/7 and self-service), which are also free. One of our favourite hotels in Iceland.

We have cancelled 3 of our bookings along the same route towards your locations due to unforseen weather change during the past few days. Thus, we can have made alternate plans. 2 of our bookings were able to cancel and refund us due to our situation but only hotel haland won't be able to cancel for us. They should be flexible and relook into individual situations and refunded accordingly.

I advise you not to book a price that includes breakfast, because the breakfast is very sloppy and not worth it.
The hotel is a fully self-service ski apartment. You need to contact the front desk to get the room number and password, and use the password to enter and exit.
The overall health, hardware and environment are quite good.

The only god in this island tour, the first choice for self-driving tours. It was late and raining when we arrived in Akureyri. The self-service check-in was smooth. The style of a townhouse, the car was parked directly outside the floor-to-ceiling door. The room was as big as the domestic Hampton and other hotels. You can't find such a big one on the island. There are sofas, TVs, dining tables and everything. The key is that it is too cheap. The cheapest one in these days is actually the best for island tours.
