This is a charming little guest house located on a farm and run by a delightful woman who is extremely welcoming. It is in a remote location so she makes a delicious dinner for her guests. Breakfast was also excellent. I strongly recommend this guesthouse if traveling by.

Very good room in a separate building on a farm. Easy to find, very close to the road but quiet. Amazing breakfast with home made breads, marmalades… Possibility to buy home made gifts. Great logo representing the sign they use to recognise their sheep.

We stayed here for one night on our trip around the Ring Road. This guesthouse is in a separate building from the owner's residence on a working farm with sheep. The guesthouse has 3 separate rooms with private bathrooms. There is a small common area and small breakfast/dining nook. Elisabeth, the hostess is a lovely woman who has the gift of hospitality. She made us a delicious fish dinner (extra cost) and breakfast with her own homemade jams. Our room was simple, quiet and comfortable. The views of the snow-capped mountains from this valley are stunning and make you think you are in Switzerland.

We stayed four days in the guesthouse and it was fantastic. Everything is perfect: the place, the house, the farm with the animals (Sofia still misses the lambs and the dogs!!), the rooms news and supercleans, the decor, the dinner prepared just for us and very yummy, the river near the house, and above all the family that runs the guesthouse: very kind, never intrusive, serene and happy to share their life with us. It was nice to meet you, we hope to return soon!! Ciao from the three generation: Giovanna, Sandra e Sofia

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von der Gastgeberin Elisabeth empfangen. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste und hatten das ganze Häuschen für uns alleine. Wir durften das Zimmer auslesen, es war klein aber super sauber. Betten tiptop, Badezimmer ebenso. Das Frühstück war das Beste das wir in Island gegessen haben. Elisabeth hat uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Brot und Marmelade war selbstgemscht, super lecker. Ihre Kekse ein Hammer. Diese Unterkunft können wir jedem empfehlen.

Gracias Elizabeth por tener una casa tan acogedora y ser tan amable con tus huéspedes. La habitación muy limpia, WC privado y zona de comedor acogedor. Desayuno abundante con productos caseros. Nos preparó la cena y estuvo exquisita. Fue la mejor guesthouse del viaje sin duda.

Abbiamo prenotato questa guest house dopo aver letto molti commenti entusiasti degli ospiti che vi avevano soggiornato. Non possiamo che confermare ciò che ci ha portato qui! Una struttura semplice ma molto curata, che mette a contatto con la vita agreste islandese (anche per i nostri bambini è stato molto bello vedere gli animali e respirare la vita che si fa in una fattoria). Noi avevamo prenotato anche cena e colazione ed è stato un vero piacere assaggiare le prelibatezze cucinate da Elisabeth e preparate con tanta cura. Lei è stata davvero gentilissima e molto disponibile: il cuore che ci mette fa brillare questa guest house, che rimarrà certamente nei nostri ricordi di viaggio.

Ci siamo fermati una notte in questa Guesthouse, gestita da Elisabeth, la proprietaria, una persona gentilissima ed accogliente. Camera non grandissime ma ben arredata ed attrezzata. Abbiamo anche cenato in quanto il posto è un po' isolato e ci siamo trovati bene. Ottima esperienza.
