"The characteristic of the whole island is that there are many animals but few animals. . There are only about 20 rooms near the sea, so you need to book in advance. There are many activities on the island, which can be booked on the first day of your stay. Horseback riding is 350 dirhams per person, kayaking is 245 dirhams per person, and taking a car to see animals seems to be around 300 (I can’t remember the specific price). . But the zoo only has various sheep, ostriches, giraffes, and peacocks, which are still very different from South Africa. . The restaurants on the island are not suitable for Chinese stomachs. It is recommended that you bring enough snacks or side dishes to the island. Al Sabania Island is close to Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island Hotel
It’s about 260 kilometers, so it’s best to book a car in advance, especially when going back to the city from the island. There is no way to get a taxi from the pier. . The peacocks and sheep on the island eat everything. . Put some peanuts and melon seeds in the open air, and they will all come. . ."
"Great hotel! Just a great place! The price-quality ratio is simply amazing for only $60 for a chic room. Clean, spacious, cozy! The design is super - minimalism in Arabic style! The lighting in the room is very romantic! The hotel has its own territory - everything is well-kept, flower beds, plants. View of the dunes - the hotel is right surrounded by dunes. The food is delicious - the local salad Liwa and majbus were great. The territory is very calm, quiet. If you want to take a break from the city noise, bustle and are looking for privacy - this is definitely the place. The pool is open, large. You can see the dunes from it. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Parking is free. I really liked everything, I want to come back."
"Although it is a bit far from Dubai and takes a 40-minute boat ride, everything is worth it from the moment we get on the island!
From the moment we arrived at the dock, we were warmly received and taken care of by every staff member. Each of them was smiling, polite, and very nice to the children. The luggage starts from the dock and is sent to your room, so don't worry.
This island is the private island of the former king, and the more than 10,000 animals on it were also bought by the king. It was really great to experience safari at 6:30 in the morning. I couldn't go to Africa for the time being, so I pretended to be in Africa. Our guide was super good and helped us introduce it all the way. I was lucky to see a group of giraffes, with 30 or 40 of them. He said it was not seen every day.
Breakfast is ordered, the product is great, and we had breakfast in the woods. When we were almost done, various animals came to eat, and the children were very happy.
The swimming pool is heated, which is good, and there are small animals everywhere around. It's really a different experience."

"This hotel is in an amazing and unique location, looking at the stunning Liwa desert, where the movie Dune was filmed. I’m pleased to inform you that the rooms are actually better looking than the images on booking websites.
There are a few short comings though: the activities are limited compared to other hotels (could be the hotel being brand new at the time of my stay), while the staff are very kind, sometimes it takes multiple calls to the reception to get something done.
Overall, at around 300USD per night, this hotel is THE best bang for the buck you can get for a room of this class."
"Make an appointment in advance for the time of the boat on the island to the dock butler one-stop service, lounge luggage are helped to send to the hotel and then the boat on the island to stay at the front desk to book activities diving fishing watching animals and so on safari tour guide brother is very good
The rooms are very nice and the beach pool in the hotel is very nice and the photos are very good. Several hotels on the island have cars for each other. The dinner we chose costs AED 1,000 and there is a 15% service charge"
"Stepping into the resort felt like going into an Arabian castle, and the resort staff did not disappoint. Top notch service by everyone from check in to buggy drivers to wait staff and activity guides. Breakfast was excellent, very wide selection and very good quality. The only reason for my 3 rating was due to the food options outside of breakfast. Given that there’s no where else to eat, I found the food served at the restaurants quite average but quite pricey. (I did not manage to get a reservation at the Arabian restaurant as it was booked out ahead of time)."

Great
NNourThey stay was very great, we really liked the place that was followed with an incredible services and friendly staff there, also the restaurant food was very delicious. but I have a little concern about the outside airstream furnitures that needs to be more cleaned as well as the bicycles need to be checked before the guest’s check in, as for everything else was super perfect.
I shared some of my favorite pictures about my stay there . . Many thanks to you and to this beautiful place ✨
CCrystal PillayStaff were friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded to a Seaview room which we really appreciated. However, I can't say it's exactly 5 stars yet, as someone who has been to five star hotels across 4 countries, there are certain stuff missing such a complimentary robes and slippers, toothbrushes etc, but of course the hotel is still fairly new and will probably improve over time.
Cons during our stay:
-There was construction there and the exits to the beach were closed.
- There wasn't any buffet dinner the 1st few nights, they kept pushing out the time for dinner as they were hosting a soccer team and the buffet was planned accordingly to their timing, usually past 9.30pm which was too late.
- The lunch and dinner menu is still fairly small.
- The soccer team (young guys) were quite noisy at early parts of the morning in the outside breakfast area which was just outside our window.
- The buffet dinner on Christmas day was absolutely small.
- No bathtub in room and could not see which room had a tub listed online as it just mentioned '' shower or tub''.
- Gym is extremely small.
Pros:
-Beautiful sea view.
- Located in a Quiet and peaceful environment.
- Lulu supermarket located just outside the hotel which makes it convenient.
- Rooms had mini kitchen with cutlery and pots etc, washing machine and microwave, fridge etc, which was nice.
- House keeping was available on request at any time.
- House keeping staff were very friendly.
- Security guard was very helpful and friendly.
- We could have a small barbecue on the beach at late hours of the night.
- Plenty parking.
- Sea view room had a balcony.
- Hotel provided a mini needle and cotton set which I found unusual and cute, definitely not something I've seen at other hotels.
Overall the place has an amazing view, and I'm sure will improve as they develop and get more tourists. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others.
GGuest UserWhat a beautiful and serene spot to be secluded with your loved ones. An absolute delight in the middle of the western region of UAE, with an excellent high speed road if you are coming all the way from Dubai. Gas it up all the way to 160kmph to reach this milestone in less than three hours and have a delightful stay.
The pool and the view is absolutely commendable in this oasis. The hotel interiors and entrance are quite royal and Arabic taking you back instantly out of a Hollywood movie's stay at a desert resort. The people working here are all super nice and very hospitable.
Shout out to Raja Gopal, Shubash, Liya, Shweta, Sangam and the front desk gentleman. Thanks to the frontdesk for a beautiful room upgrade to the oasis pool view. Make sure to enjoy quad biking and happy hour by the pool to beat the heat. The aspect that can improve is the room service and the operators answering the phones as no one picked up our calls from the room or elsewhere. I'd think it's a busy schedule so I'll let that go.
Overall, loved my Eid stay and would definitely return.
KKimIt is a quiet resort resort.
Many office workers and family vacationers come here.
Alcohol and food can be purchased nearby.
There is a swimming pool.
The beach is shallow, so it is good for children to play.
马马晓晖MA XIAOHUIVery nice, the environment is very good, the resort hotel. But the location is really remote and there is nothing around. However, the hotel has its own beach, which is not bad, and there are other hotels nearby, so there are several options for eating. There is also a Korean restaurant next to it, mainly to provide services for the nuclear power plant built by the Koreans nearby, and the food is good.
OOhsituated in gayathi, i loved the place. it is a little isolated and the room has a little quirky organization -- you have to take stairs to go the the bathroom -- but it is a perfect place to go if you have business in this region. the hotel was clean, staff were very kind, and the price was affordable. one complaint would be the screen by the pool was blasting indian music even after midnight, but I called the reception and they turned it off immediately.
The average price for hotels in Al Dhafra is AED 1,543 on weekdays, and AED 1,583 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
