We have stayed here on numerous occaasions and this time it was a family gathering for 13 people.Rooms are large,airy and spotlessly clean.The food,breakfast and dinner is excellent.Nothing is too much trouble for Cristina and Alec who aranged a number of wonderful fun experiences-sherry tasting,flamenco evening,jamón centre at Jabugo and Minas de Rio Tinto.The evening of Cenando Canciones was also great fun with Oscar.We love this place dearly..

The service was amazing again and since our last visit there has been significant investment in the hotel. The food and canciones were as good as ever and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cristina, Alec and Oscar are the perfect hosts. Thanks again, Phil, Ceren and family x

I would recommend Finca la Fronda to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful idyllic place to stay. An ideal base for walking, sampling local cuisine, enjoying nature and relaxing in perfect surroundings. Hosts Alec and Christina took great care of us and the food and attention to detail was so appreciated. And Oscar - who came and played the piano and sung for us - that really made the visit incredibly special. We can’t wait to come back and visit another time 🥰

My husband and I spent a few days at this lovely place and enjoyed it immensely! We arrived quite late and the hostess Kristin meet us to welcome us and give us a good show around. Being late we didn't feel like traveling to find dinner and she graciously prepared a light meal for us which was wonderful! the room was very spacious and pleasant. We had dinner 2 nights that were prepared by Alec and both meals were delicious! breakfast was equally wonderful. Unfortunately it was raining during our stay and we didn't get to explore as much as we would have liked..but the first night we had amazing views of the night sky and we were able to get some great shots of the galaxy..

We recently stayed @ Finca La Fronda, arriving 5 hours later than planned due to extreme weather conditions & poor map reading! Our host met us expressing his concern for our bedraggled condition, commenting he was just about to stop the search party getting under way; thoughtful to say the least with all his existing workload. The hotel was stunning along with delightful food, beautiful Salon with Pianist playing at times along with clean, very comfortable & generous room sizes.

Such a peaceful setting to enjoy the area. I visited with a group of friends, and it was the perfect set up with us, with plenty of space to spend time together. The food was fabulous, with hearty portions, and the hosts were kind and generous, and really cared that we were having a good time.

I stayed at Finca La Fonda with a group of friends for 3 nights and we had a wonderful time. The hosts were so friendly and attentive and made our stay thoroughly enjoyable. The food and wine were exceptional - with special mention of the amazing choice of marmalades at breakfast! The property itself is beautiful with amazing views and lots of lovely walks nearby in an unspoilt and little-known (for British visitors) part of Spain.

Welcomed by nice text and code to open Electric gate( not the same as having a warm welcome in person). An hour later someone came and asked if we had any food preferences, no introduction. Rooms clean and comfortable. Smoker next door on second night . Dinner on first night was delicious. Place not lived in ? Nice lady came in and gave us good breakfast with really good homemade jams. Honesty bar and tea and coffee making facilities ( for fee) but appeared to have cctv watching? No warning of this. Would much preferred to have been staying in cosy guest house in pretty peaceful little town Alajar with restaurants/bars and atmosphere ,surrounded by lovely countryside. Would possibly suit weekenders but ? Not walkers as ourselves.
