Floria Beach Hotel

Just got back from here and it’s honestly not worth the money. We are normal average English people with normal expectations from a hotel and this didn’t meet them. There was issues in every department of this hotel not just one. First the beach was absolutely nothing like the photos, it was rocky and stoney and incredibly hard to get in the water. Alternatively you could lay on a literal concrete slab without the sea or sand next to the beach. The pool was small but good always able to get sunbeds but had to be up by 7am for them. The food was NOT made for the English at all. We aren’t fussy eaters and found it difficult to eat at every meal, we are convinced we lost weight. It was made for the Germans with salad and every thing was coated in vinegar. Breakfast didn’t even have your standard fry up parts only eggs. We lived on pasta, fruit and bread rolls for a week for all 3 meals. Waiting staff including Denis, Alladin and Cedar were amazing however the head waiter who was bald was just quite frankly rude. The receptionist who spoke English was also very helpful at sorting out taxis for us. Location wise it cost about £10 in a taxi to get to anywhere with life as us brits know it. Also cocktails and certain alcohol weren’t including in the hotel and cost £15 at least outside of the hotel. Beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable which was a slight issue. Cleaning staff only made our room twice in 7 days due to how inconvenient the times they came were. Mainly 4pm when your back in the room having a rest and when we did open the door they only changed the bins. Cleaner who was older with a hijab was very kind and polite despite lack of English. Large language barrier when I speak a little Turkish they still didn’t understand. Took 5 hours in transfer to this hotel. Look around for other hotels as there are amazing palace looking hotels compared to this air BnB vibe hotel. Really doesn’t match the quality to the rest of the resort. A lot needs to be changed in catering for the English as this shouldn’t be sold as an “English” hotel, there was 6 of us English in the hotel for the week. Clearly outnumbered by Germans

Generally this hotel would be classified as nearly 4 Star by international standards. I would say all the staff appear to be hard working and energetic and polite. Reception very helpful and the girls on Guest Relations are more helpful than our TUI Tour Guide. The young lady Kubra and her friend have made me very happy and make every effort to ensure we have an enjoyable holiday.

This was our first holiday in Alanya and it was a wonderful holiday, despite the fact that two family members got heatstroke in the first days of the holiday, therefore do not neglect the recommendations for prevention - drink water more often, swim in the sea often, and take a cool shower. Initially, we were looking for a small, cozy hotel, far from the noise of the city and crowded beaches. We really found such a hotel! Two buildings, cozy rooms with balconies, a stunning courtyard, which is located in the shade of giant trees. The rooms are cleaned every day, has almost silent air conditioning, room safe, small comfortable bathroom with necessary amenities (good hair dryer). Beds and pillows were quite comfortable. Room has a balcony, unfortunately, it was impossible to sit there as it was extremely hot weather those days. The food was simple, but varied, none of us were hungry. The Chefs are doing their best: fish, meat, rice, potatoes, lots of salads, traditional appetizers, fruits, desserts, excellent grilled meat and fish every evening, delicious local bread. Everything was delicious and we had no problems with the quality of the food. Drinks such as juices (orange, pineapple, apple, cherry, etc.) and water were available 24/7. Management is on duty every single day, checking food, dining areas, beach and pool, etc. The beach area is large, there is enough space for everyone. We were warned that the peculiarity of this coast is the rocky entry into the sea and slippery stone slabs, so you need to be careful, and swimming shoes is must have. On the right side of the beach there is a staircase that allows you to go out to the sandy public beach next to the hotel, with easy access into the sea . There are enough sun beds and umbrellas at the hotel’s beach. All comments regarding the rocky bottom are offset by the beauty and warmth of the sea, from which you do not want to leave for days! Some tips :) Upon arrival, do not drag your suitcases down the stairs to the reception, use the elevator on the right side of the hotel. Hotel’s recommended private transfer from Gazipasha airport - comfortable, clean car, excellent and clear communication when booking a transfer. Our recommendation for the company - “7/24 Alanya Travel and tours transfer”. You can get to the city center by buses nos.: 1 and 101, the bus stop is outside the hotel, same side, walking to the right about 20 meters, buses run frequently. Pay for tickets to the driver either by card or in cash. If you need to take home some gifts, it is better to buy them in the city, since duty free at Gazipasha airport has a poor selection and is very expensive.

Fantastic holiday,everything you need is in the hotel the beach is down the steps from the hotel,you dnt need to leave the hotel if you didn’t want to, The food was plentiful and a lot of choice,a nice snack bar at a certain time then at 4.30 they do a cake selection If your planning to visit Floria beach with children I would probably find somewhere else,as it’s not really a hotel for families it’s more for couples that want to relax The staff are friendly and helpful We met some more English couples that I’m sure will end up life long friends All in all a lovely hotel and a lovely holiday

The reviews I’ve just read are obviously from Germany or Reception! As the 6 brits sating here were not happy including ourselves. Why would the hotel not want us to be heard? I’m an ex travel agent, who believes in telling the truth, why just include the good reviews?

Me and my girlfriend were in Floria Beach Hotel for 2 weeks. The staff was very friendly and professional. The food was excellent and versatile. We really enjoyed our stay and our vacation was very relaxing. There were also different type of activity such as DJ:s performing, dancers, etc.
