We had a great stay and are returning guests to this property. The location and the staff are fantastic and make your experience excellent. We stayed in a room with a large balcony offering wonderful balcony furniture where you can enjoy you private breakfast or just a cup of coffee. The hotel is very dog friendly which is a plus for us.
The rooms are not really big but big enough to feel comfortable. Bathrooms are rather small and have very little storage area. Breakfast buffet offers everything you need and the staff even recommends dishes from the kitchen freshly prepared for you.
We will definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to everyone traveling to the Ligurian coast.

What an AMAZING hotel! From when you pull up to check in, until you leave, fantastic 5* service! Everyone is nice and professional! We had an amazing room (junior suite) with a huge terrace (that I didn’t want to leave!) The food is really good and for me (miss fussy pants) the chef accommodated me! Great breakfast. Very accommodating also for our pooch. Situated on the beach, down town, just perfect. Didn’t try the spa (as I was glued to the terrace!) but will next time

We loved the view from our room. We loved our terrace. The breakfast buffet was the very best we have encountered on this trip (and we have stayed at high-end hotels). There was a huge selection of delicious foods, beautifully displayed, with attentive service for coffee orders. We enjoyed the “Medical Spa,” The fitness room was well-equipped. Our room was small, but the layout makes good use of the space (with built-in shelves and drawers). There was no electrical outlet near the bed, so we had to live with a long extension cord (cheerfully provided and taped in place by the bellman) in order to have power for a CPAP machine. Go for a terrace room if you can! Our terrace was our outdoor living room.

We stayed at he Grand Hotel Alassio for 5 nights and honestly loved every minute. From check-in to check-out, everyone made me feel welcome. The reception staff were always kind and patient whenever I had questions and I usually have a lot of questions :) The beach service was fantastic — the team there seemed to notice everything and made sure we had what we needed. A special shootout and thanks to the concierge team. Alex, the head concierge, was especially helpful. He gave me great suggestions and arranged things so smoothly that it really made logistics super easy, thanks to him. Overall, it felt like much more than a 5-star stay. I left with great memories and would be happy to come back again.

Everything about this hotel is absolutely amazing. However, the one reason I will not return is because you have no control over the temperature. We are 4 ladies in our 50s who run hot at night. Even though you put your thermostat down to a certain temperature, it’s all controlled by the staff. Night after night, we asked for our room to be cooler and it went down maybe a half degree. So uncomfortable sleeping. I completely understand energy efficiency but when it’s to the detriment of your guests that’s not good.

Has a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel. Its very expensive so get ready for that. We enjoyed the beach club daily, very comfortable lounges and nice towels. The cost of Spritz's and drinks very expensove - 25Euro spritz was over the top i felt. Made for very expensive refreshments for a travelling family.

Nice hotel in lovely setting. Nice room with great view of the sea. Food for breakfast was terrible. Staff at the beach is not friendly. Lacking the little touches for a true palace.
