We stayed 3 nights together with friends and enjoyed every minute of it. Especially, the warm hospitality of the owner family, Federica and Alessandro. The location is idyllic and quiet, in the midst of vineyards and farm country, 5 minutes by car from Alba. We went for hikes and wine tasting during the day, lounging at the pool in the afternoon. Lots of great restaurants nearby that the hosts can recommend. One small note; the available internet connection is very sporadic, so don't plan on using it much.

The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts are delicious with a good variety of continental style choices (cold cuts, cheeses, breads, jams, yogurt, sweet offerings, etc.) The hostess makes many of the delicious tortes offered. At breakfast each morning, the hosts make time to talk to each and every guest to see how the previous day went and to make suggestions (if you'd like) for the current day's adventures. As it was summertime, breakfasts were served on the terrace. Both host and hostesses speak good English (far, far better than our Italian). Communication was very good. As this is a bed-and-breakfast, dinner is not served and the hosts provide a list of local, recommended restaurants. We went to several, all of which were very good. The rooms are spacious, up-to-date, and very clean. They are not "fancy" but very nice. The new pool is a lovely addition. The location is just "over the hill" from Alba in a small vale in the heart of the wine region. It is a 10-25 minute car ride to just about every charming hilltop village in the area. It is a working agriculture endeavor ("farm" is not the right word) with the vineyards and hazelnut grove behind and in front of the house. Hint: while there are plenty of enoteca in the area to sample Dolce, Barolo, and Barbaresco and some vintners have tasting rooms, if you want to tour a vineyard, you need to contact the vineyard well in advance.

We had an excellent stay, Very nice hosts, Good breakfast, Good room. What more can one ask for. They have made a 2 page instruction to how the place works. On that page is also a list of recommended restaurants - we visited two of them - they were excellent. I will keep that list. Here they among other things produce their own hazel nuts - and make there one hazelnut spread .. I can highly recommend to taste that. We plan to be back later this year..

The setting is beautiful. The drive up the mountain from Alba is winding and the scenery if incredible. The host and hostess were there on site to answer any questions. The room overlooked the vineyards and at night was very quiet. Try their homemade hazelnut spread - very rich and tasty. Recommended restaurants for us to try. It's a beautiful area. Continental breakfast with wonderful coffee.

Mais que c’est beau cet endroit. L’accueil de la propriétaire et son époux est très sympathique. Tout est fait pour le bien-être des voyageurs. La maison est immense décorée peut être un peu kitch mais c’est tellement propre. Le lit king size parfait. La table du petit-déjeuner avenante. Tout est très bon avec des produits à base de noisettes (le propriétaire est nuciculteur). La piscine à débordement très chouette. Le seul bémol c’est la 4G une vraie zone blanche …..peut être pour déconnecter totalement 😌

Avevo bisogno di pernottare una sola notte , certa del fatto che una coppia di cari amici avrebbe soggiornato , sempre solo per una notte, lo stesso identico we in quella struttura . PRemettendo che la mia mail era stata preceduta da una telefonata in cui un gentil signore mi aveva rassicurata del fatto che, pur prenotando noralmente 2 notti enon 1, avrebbe trovato una soluzione per me per riuscire a soddisfare la ns richiesta di restare con i nostri amici. PEccato che via mail mi sia stato risposto cosi " Semplicemente sono riusciti a prenotare quella camera perché ce n’è una che va via il sabato ed è rimasto sto buco. Noi per ragioni organizzative nel weekend non prendiamo pernottamenti di una notte, poi non sono tenuta a spiegarle i motivi" FIRMATO FEDERICA. A quanto pare, cari clienti che siete in lettura, per Casa Ressia noi non solo siamo un BUCO da riempiere perchè UNO è andato via, in più non meritiamo nemmeno delle loro spiegazioni. Due suggerimenti : migliorate la comunicazione tra Voi colleghi...e magari La sig.ra Federica evitate di farLa interlocuire con i clienti, perchè li perdete.

La casa è bellissima a pochi passi da Alba, immersa nelle verdi e rigogliose colline delle Langhe. Posizione stupenda e trattamento e servizi al top. Sono stato molte volte in quella zona e in diverse strutture della stessa categoria, ma questa è in assoluto una delle migliori. Alessandro poi, il proprietario, è stato gentilissimo con me, aiutandomi ad aggiustare la moto avendo avuto un problema (è un ex centauro, chiedetegli le strade più belle da percorrere). Consigliatissimo!
