Camping near the center of Alba, this is a well-kept asfalt road where bungalows are developed plus a area in the bottom where you can camp with campers or sleep in the house on the tree or in the boots The real bead of this place it is the spa, where you are guided by a qualified sauna teacher that allows you to live the best experience by completing the path “in the right way” and second disciplinary We had a small inconvenience with a cutting for a error of the Reservation but still resolved with the very reasonable owners We have sleeped in the bathroom with a bathroom, comfortable and fun.

Hotel Calissano is on the outskirts of Alba, but only 10 minutes walk from any place in the town centre. We stayed two nights, en route from France to visiting our son in Munich. A perfect experience, from the helpfulness in going with me to park my car in the excellent underground parking, to nice breakfasts on the terrace, booking of an excellent restaurant ( and booking is really needed for the few places open on a Monday evening in Alba), relaxation at the bar and immediate response to our issue with the (very good) air conditioning. The room was very nice and as expected, but it is the people who make the difference in a good hotel and I want to single out Bruno at the front desk for most of the help mentioned above and Maurizio at the bar. Highly recommended.

If you are planning a visit to the Langhe region of Piedmont I feel there could be no better accommodation option than Rivetto Suites in Alba. Alba is the perfect place to be based if your intention is to visit the stunningly beautiful villages, wineries and restaurants of the Langhe or indeed Roero. Nothing is more than a half an hour’s drive away from Alba. And in Alba you will find a beautiful Italian town with great shopping and food and wine experiences. It’s the perfect place to come back to after a day of driving to Barolo and back. Rivetto Suites are smack bang in the middle of Alba with everything no more than a five minute walk away. Rivetto Suites are modern and include every possible amenity and convenience. Magda, the manager is friendly, thoughtful and kind. Her tolerance and cheerful acceptance of my washing fetish was much appreciated. I actually felt sad to be leaving as we drove back to Malpensa airport. Thanks Magda!

A great location, spacious room and everything we needed and asked for EXCEPT for air conditioning… it says they have rooms with AC and I can’t say it’s not true but the thought hit me since we went there when it was super hot, the place was not fully booked and we still got a room without. So make sure on beforehand that your room will have AC. We got a fan and slept with windows open which works but we needed earplugs due to a noisy street. Other than that we were very satisfied with the place.

Right at the doorstep of alba town, good location. Only 350m away from alba railway station, good gateway to other Italian towns. This is a very basic place to sleep, water kettle is shared at common corridor. No slippers, no toothbrush, just basic shampoo and body wash. Cannot adjust temperature in the room, so it really depends on the season you are there. Water pressure is low, so do expect shower to be longer. Breakfast is a croissant and a cup of coffee at the bakery right opp the hotel. Not much of a front desk, if there’s anyone manning it but you can easily get in and out of the establishment. No Uber in this town, and taxi is exorbitant and rare here. Good for a night stay~
