I cannot recommend this Masseria highly enough! We had a most enjoyable week there at the beginning of May 2024 and in all respects we had a wonderful experience. The food and wine was all made from the produce and grapes grown on the estate and the dinners were so varied, especially the antipasto! On the second day we went to Alberobello and unfortunately I damaged my hire car while in the town. The help given to us from the hotel staff and the manager, Giuseppe who went out of his way to provide us with transport home was superb. I want to highlight the excellent service and help of the remainder of our stay from two people in particular, Paulo and Noemi. Their English was excellent and so helpful in reducing our stress caused by my the car issue. In particular they contacted the the tyre repair company on numerous occasions and kept us informed as to the repair situation. They are both a real credit to the hotel. On our second week we stayed in a Holiday Property Bond trullo in a nearby village and the HPB bondholder dinner was held at the Masseria Torricella who provided our fellow Bondholders with a wonderful dinner night. We booked directly with the Masseria by email. The respons was super fast and without any complications we could also book the wine tour at the connected winery Cantina Masseria Torricella. The products for their food is from their organic farm and tastes amazing. We also loved the wine and the passion behind the development.

Food was poor. Clearly they are only catering for foreigners and the menu shows that. I was told that as a vegetarian I was the problem to fix. I had the only vegetarian options on the menu. As first course I had the risotto with caciocavallo and truffle. It was bland, I could only taste lemon and a distant hint of cheese, the truffle was out of a jar and tasteless. The second course was the caciocavallo alla piastra with cream of mushrooms. Again terrible, the cheese was served on 2 slices of bread and was already hard, the cream of mushrooms was again out of a jar and tasteless. We were the only Italians at dinner and the menu and poor execution is tailored just for foreigners.

Utterly delightful oasis near Alberobello. Beautiful room, fantastic food, friendly staff and people. Lovely subset walk through the grounds, coming face to face with deer. Even the cat was friendly. Warmly recommended.

Giuseppe the owner of the vineyard took us on a wonderful tour, not just to the cantina but out into the vineyard to where the different varieties of grapes were just waiting to be picked. The vineyard is Bio (organic) and this peaked my interest and is what sold me on the tour. We love those who pour passion into the old methods to create products that are just plainly better. Giuseppe was lovely, passionate and so very patient with our many questions. Next to the beautiful tasting rooms in an old building which had once housed animals. It was beautifully restored and was made completely of local golden limestone. We were transferred to the hands of Leonardo, a young employee who despite his age, showed the same care, enthusiasm and passion as his boss. We enjoyed every wine we tasted and all the food paired with it. The food was from their organic garden garden, cheeses from their cows, and even their own honey. In the end we left happy from the experience and with a box filled with wines to enjoy at home. We would visit again when back in Puglia and also consider staying with them in the Masseria. (We accidentally arrived at the Masseria which was beautiful, and Giuseppe’s wife who runs it helped direct us to the vineyard) Grazie mille!

A quiet location with a nice scenery and a relaxing atmosphere, excellent to reach attractions in the region, such as Alberobello's trulli, Polignano a Mare, Ostuni and Matera in the Basilicata region. Food was very good and so was the wine they produce.

We were a group of friends. Wonderful wine tasting experience and vine yard tour. Wine tasting included 4 very good wines with nibbles accompanying each wine. Staff were very friendly, passionate,and the environment is peaceful and well kept. A Totally Recommended Experience!

Not very welcoming. The rooms are small and devoid of anything. The various rooms are uncomfortable. No attractions. Staff rarely present and not very friendly. Good breakfast. The location is not the best for getting around the area. Beautiful landscape .
