Smy Santa Eulalia Algarve

My stay at Smy was not great. The condition of the rooms were awful. Mould in the shower with shower curtains that I was afraid would blow on me. Floor mats used as towels. The mats also had dye stains on them. The sofa bed smelled, so I used a towel to sit down on it, alongside of unhygienic plastic chairs on the balcony. The stairs to the room were difficult and there was no offer of help to get to the first floor. The insult of all insults is the failure to refund my deposit for the room and being hung up on, by Claudia. PLEASE ISSUE MY REFUND AS A MATTER OF URGENCY

The hotel is ok, the room number/blocks designation is a bit confusing though… It’s not in a bad spot for the new *****, and is flanked by plenty of restaurants etc… Big plus is the air con, pool area is just ok for how many rooms they have, no where near enough places to sit

Excellent location, close to *****, supermarket, shops bars and restaurants, staff helpful and friendly apartment clean spacious and Groupon fa well kept

Bad, dirty, the photos on the site are not the same thing at all. And the case is to say Google vs. Reality. No security, other people who had the wrong room entered at night. So the key you give is the same for everyone? Not professional at all.

There was 22 of us in a hen, and this was one of the hotels thst would accept large bookings. Reception staff were really friendly and helpful, though could get very chaotic during check in and out, we was charged a deposit for each room that wasn't made aware of on booking this was between 100 and 250 euros. The rooms were clean though needs some repairs and general paint. No cleaner during our 5 day stay but this maybe due to being self catering.Could ask for clean towels and toilet paper etc from Reception and was given straightaway. Pool area was small but was able to get beds pretty easy, pool bar got very busy at times as only one serving this could be looked at another bar area not in pool would be nice thats sells coffee etc. Overall it was what we expected for a hotel that takes large groups could be loud at times but the staff dealt with this promptly. Bolt was cheap to get around and use taxi within minutes. I'd not recommend this as a family hotel but would stay again if travelling in a large group.

First time at Smy hotel Was a bit sceptical after reading reviews. Neednt have been, the lady on reception was most welcoming, Flavia. Complex was immaculate. Room spotless. The rules are simple, respect for other guests and throw rubbish in bin at the end of your stay. Deposit returned no problem. Thank you Flavia, we will return

Came as a stag of 21, check in has horrendous, lady at reception was very rude. Room was basic but adequate. No cleaning the whole 3 nights, no loo roll top up, 2 rolls to last 3 blokes 3 days. Infested woth ants. Quite time is 10pm. Evening lady on reception was very aggressive and rude, and threatening us with non payment of deposit after paying €300 per room. The situation was de escalated by her co-worker and security. Pool area was nice and clean and plenty of sunbeds. Overall, would not recommend this hotel
