Convenient location near beach, old town, bars, and restaurants. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and pillows. Excellent facilities, including a spacious pool, well-equipped kitchen, and powerful air conditioning.

We stayed at the resort in a garden view suite in August 2024. The suite features two full bathrooms (tub/shower combo) and a living room area with a pull-out couch, separated from the bedroom by two doors with a mini foyer. This setup provided excellent privacy for parents from the kids, and having double bathrooms made getting ready a breeze. The rooms are very spacious, with two double beds joined together, comfortably sleeping three people. The pull-out couch fits two more. While the breakfast was average, the pools were decent, although they had limited lawn chairs by 10 am. To secure a spot by the pool or beach, arrive between 8:30-9 am. The beach offers cabanas with an umbrella and two chairs for rent: €26 for a full day and €13 after 2 pm in the second or last rows. The front row costs €30 for the whole day and €15-17 for the afternoon only. The beach snack bar's food was average, with nothing particularly special. The Atlantic restaurant was pretty good for seafood lovers. However, I missed having hotdogs for the kids or Portuguese pão with chorizo for lunch snacks. The hamburgers were merely average. Some foods were overpriced— a Caesar salad with chicken was over €20. You're better off purchasing snacks and food from external stores. The real bar offered enjoyable live music. I wished there were extra entertainment options at night, like a magic show for kids, an illusionist, or Portuguese folklore dancers. Overall, the resort is steps away from the beach, the rooms are great, the property landscape is beautiful, and the food is average. Despite some minor drawbacks, I would definitely book here again.

Overall the hotel was good value for money if you’re not looking to spend a lot but want an accommodation that’s clean, with a good location. The receptionist that checked us in was by far one of the rudest people that I’ve ever met. Very belittling to myself and the other members of my group. When we asked about the €100 per room deposit that we weren’t advised of before hand, we said we had no problem paying it we just weren’t notified prior to travel. She said it doesn’t matter who you are, your age or 80 everyone pays. We never had any issues with paying, we were a little surprised as we weren’t aware of it and discussing the best way to pay as some wanted to pay cash and others card. During checked in we asked if we could be told if a room becomes available earlier could we have our rooms earlier, we were again told it doesn’t matter if we’re our age or 80 everyone waits till 4pm. So I asked that’s fine, is there a room to leave our bags? To which I was told first I do your check in then I answer your question. Literally would have taken less time to say yes! After all this we were told we could come early for our room, we were told if we came back in an hour one of the rooms may be available so I don’t know why the check in process had to be so awkward. One morning my friend asked this particular staff if she could change her €20 euro note for smaller bills. The staff said well only if it’s real. It was just so rude. We understand in any business they check money is real but to flat out say that to us was wild. The wardrobes in the room the doors didn’t open properly, so you couldn’t use them. The dividers to separate the bed space from the living area the same. The second room, my friends had to change their key cards over 10 times because it would stop working. The public areas are beautiful and the pool is lovely, all be it a little small. There is no atmosphere at the pool though, no music or anything it’s just silent. Besides one afternoon they randomly had a singer by the pool bar as everyone was leaving at the end of the day? The maids cleaned the apartments every day, they were always immaculate. Just a lot of little things let this hotel down. I’d go back to this area again, but I would avoid this hotel.
