The hotel itself is a palace, the environment is very good, but there is a distance from the city center, compared to the secluded. Relative to the environment, the room looks normal. The hotel waiter has a general service attitude and can experience it in the environment. But once again, the black waiter accidentally sent a bathrobe and took the opportunity to look at the guests, because the check in was already six o'clock in the evening, the room had a bathrobe. A great breakfast, careful staff and everything very comfortable and clean. I only mention the noise that is sound in the morning in the bridge-oriented rooms, and if I stayed more than one night, I would ask to change the room.

I would like to make it clear that the accommodations at this hostel were as expected, taking into account that currently it is basically what one is looking for, when it comes to stays for a short period of time. But I missed clearer and more accurate information in the booking confirmation email. Because when I arrived at the hotel door and pressed the doorbell dozens of times without getting an answer, it was very stressful! My phone is from Brazil and I hadn't bought a chip from Portugal. I had to seek help from third parties, unknown people, thank God I found someone who helped me, but even getting into our room was a long way! Something that should have been very simple became almost a nightmare. Therefore, I would like to suggest that when making a book with a client, make it clear in the email the step-by-step instructions on how to enter the hotel and also the room! Make it clear to the person that everything is done remotely and we never even know who we are talking to. Not everyone will get there with working internet on their cell phone, and making a phone call is out of the question due to the price it would cost, as it would be International! Just a suggestion, so it doesn't happen to other people. Regards

Picked this place as we were attending a conference at Centro de Congressos de Lisboa, so was walking distance from there, but also as right on great tram and bus links for tourism in evenings. It worked out perfectly. The building is very atmospheric and the room charming in style - but it is not modern, so maybe not for you if you like modern style. Very clean. Useful to have the kitchen area. Of note the guest house on 2nd floor and no lift. No big sign on outside so need to look for small sign on door to street, next to pharmacy. Reception was not staffed 24 hours when we were there so need to communicate your arrival time. There is noise from the square below if windows are open. We were fine as cool enough to close shutters at night. Whilst we didn't hear much from other guests, the noise did travel through the doors in the morning when people were in the corridor to the kitchen/communal bathrooms. This didn't really disturb us though.
