This was a perfect hotel for the long weekend break I needed. A small quiet town, fantastic setting (old converted olive grove), exceptional service, tranquil, and an amazing breakfast each day. Yes, there were areas where a little spruce up could be done, but this just added to the quaintness of the place. Loved it. It will be my first choice for a short chill break in the sun in the future.

Julie, the front desk person, was amazing. She was so helpful with everything. The grounds are also very pretty, with beautiful olive trees, flowering shrubs and cacti. The breakfast was good, but a 10 euro uncharge. That said, there were many things that we did not like about Hotel Capela Das Artes. The rooms were perfumed which gave both me and my wife a headache, the wifi was super spotty, the shower barely worked, the beds were hard. The hotel is going for a funky artistic vibe, but was a hodgepodge of things that were felt trended towards the tacky.

Nice territory with olive trees, but all buildings and rooms are worn out. Maybe somebody thinks it’s nice, kind of vintage, but it’s not comfortable staying at all, ROOMS: outdated. Two beds shifted together, but it didn’t become one bed. Rather spacious bedroom, bathroom isn’t big. Inconvenient sink, old style shower. There is terrace or balcony in the room. Room is equipped with a safe and teapot. LOCATION: 15min drive to the nearest beach, there are three restaurants nearby, Aldi supermarket in front of the hotel. FOOD: breakfast 8:30-11:00am €12 per person. FACILITIES: wi-fi is ok in room, but not so good in the terrace; outdoor swimming pool STAFF: polite, but not very welcoming. Be notified that reception deck works until 7pm.

This hotel is worth a stay. And a long one, too. It is an oasis of peace, beautifully managed by the manager Julie. She helped us in every possible way, is attentive to every detail and devotes herself to each guest with elegance and care. The breakfast is rich and the food is of impeccable quality. As experienced travellers, we recommend this hotel without hesitation.

We never stayed at the property. This opinion is to clarify the seriousness of the people who run the Hotel, which is null. We are owners of another Hotel, in Grazalema, its name is La Mejorana, this lady reserved two rooms on the Constitución bridge, for three nights, high season. We sent them the confirmation by email (we can attach copies), and they received said confirmation. As they are hotel workers, we trust their word and do not ask for a card number. Today, late in the afternoon, we asked them their arrival time and they told us that in the end they have canceled their trip and that they are not coming. If they don't even take into account people who make a living like them, I very much doubt that they will be able to treat people who come to their hotel with kindness. I hope they have many cancellations like the ones they do.

Very good breakfast, but not included in the rate. Hotel located in a huge farmhouse with a sui generis decoration, Arabic style but with a mixture that devalued some of the beautiful pieces it had. Very nice pool. Easy indoor parking. The least positive aspects are the poor lighting, at night, when accessing the rooms. Overall, there is a lack of care both in terms of structure and customer service.

Magnifique quinta avec une prestation digne d’un 4 étoiles. Accueil parfait (merci Julie), personnel agréable et sympathique, patron exceptionnel. Équipe parfait, hôtel reposant et typique avec beaucoup de charme. Petit déjeuner copieux de qualité. Une très belle expérience pour nous avec un rapport qualité prix parfait.

Ottima posizione per visitare Algarve / albergo non 4 stelle per i servizi / colazione assolutamente non appropriata - fredda neanche in bar che ti faccia un caffè ma macchinetta - vassoio con giusto 4 cose senza qualità - camera grande ma bagno con ancora il telefono doccia di plastica e piccolo - ma l’atmosfera è di grande pace e tranquillità- Julie che ti accoglie e’ fantastica gentile e disponibile con tutti e pronta ad esaudire qualsiasi richiesta
