Our stay was perfect and completely wonderful. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. We loved every minute of it and only wished we could have stayed longer. The room was simple and clean. There was a little sitting area outside our room with a table and chairs. We enjoyed from wine there. The property is beautiful with plants everywhere and spaces to sit and enjoy it. There is a beautiful pool area and a great view of the mountains and nearby towns. We had breakfast and dinner included in our stay and both included multiple courses. They easily accommodated a food allergy and food preferences. We felt very well cared for and would love to return for a longer stay.

Yet another fantastic stay. The peace is amazing. The breakfast and evening meals are outstanding. The rooms are simple but so comfortable. The area has so much to offer, quaint villages, brilliant beaches and Sunshine. The Ladies are “Lovely” 🤣🤣🤣 Cant wait to go back!

We had a short (2 night) but relaxing stay at Cortijo de Salia. This rural hotel has a lot of charm, and we found the owners very warm and welcoming. Our traditionally but simply styled room and terrace were a good size, clean and comfortable. It’s a small property anyway but we were actually the only guests there during our stay – we felt so lucky to have the place to ourselves! We really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the pool and garden area with its lovely views and it was delightful not having to share the pretty dining terrace with anyone other than the resident cats! The breakfasts, dinners and drinks we had were all of good quality and the level of service was just right – attentive but not overbearing. We would definitely recommend.

My stay in that very charming hotel was delightful, the place is very quiet, the room decorated with taste is spacious and the food excellent. I have spent a relaxing time in the garden, and the view from there is really nice. The hotel being located between mountains and beach, you can do a lot of interesting excursions, I will come back for sure.

The 3 sisters who have had this little pearl of a hotel for three years are the most welcoming women. From the minute we arrived, we were met with hospitality, smiles, and friendliness, and that lasted throughout our entire stay. Our rooms were spotless , the decor had a nice personal touch that gave us a comfortable and relaxed feeling. The views from the rooms absolutely amazing over the mountains . From the outdoor pool area there are also fabulous views. We could choose to sit in lounge chairs on the grass under palmtrees, or on the terraced area with shady parasols. We were served both coffee and drinks while relaxing by the pool. The garden was perfectly maintained, and many times we saw one of the owners maintaining the outside area, when they were not busy attending to the guests. All the meals we had, were served in the garden right in front of the hotel. Breakfast was included in our stay, and was wonderful-fresh fruits, cereals, eggs bacon, breads with all sorts of toppings, cakes- all served at the table. We could - before noon- put in an order for the dinner menu, or we could choose a lighter dinner a la carte. All we had was delicious and very tasty. If you like a peaceful , intimate and personal hotel, this is definitely worth a visit. This is absolutely worth a stay, and we'll love to come back some day.

Stayed here to attend a friends wedding nearby. It’s a relaxed, comfortable and well run small hotel in the countryside. The hosts are sisters who have travelled the world and endeavour to make their guests feel welcome. Breakfast and lunch were healthy and quality local foods and the pool provides a nice way to cool down!

Just returned from an overnight stay at Cortijo de Salia. We stayed in the suite with two bedrooms and the most amazing terrace. It was so relaxing and calming, even though we had our 6 and 8 year old with us! There was a kettle with tea and coffee supplies (very rare in Spain) and a stocked mini bar. We were shown around our room by one of the owners who made sure we knew where everything was. The sisters who own the hotel are super professional and offer a very personalised service. They were charming to our children and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious with a lovely selection of croissants, bread, meats and cheese, yoghurt and fresh fruit. Dinner was a set menu and was typically Spanish and very tasty. My only suggestion would be smaller portions and menu price for children would be great! Gardens and pool area are so tranquil and relaxing. Would be a divine place to stay as a couple. Views are extraordinary yet it's only 20 mins or so from the coast and within easy reach of Málaga Airport. We normally stay in much larger hotels and feel like we should be trying to experience more rural hotels now while the children are young enough to be satisfied by a swimming pool!
