Bellevue Lagomonte

We came here on holiday in the summer as a group of 8. 2 kids ( girl age 2 boy age 7) and 6 adults. We booked 3 rooms and asked that one room be a low level room as we have a toddler that loves to climb! We arrived to find all our rooms were on the 5th floor one room had a balcony the other 2 didn’t. So we thought fine ok the window has a lock on it will be fine! WRONG!!! The window had no lock fitted at all. So we went down to reception to ask why we wasn’t in the ground floor (tui hadn’t put the request through for us) he explained and said there was no ground floor rooms available (prior to me speaking to him a guest in front asked if they could be moved to the ground as she didn’t like the view and he moved them) So we asked if someone could come and look at the window and put a lock on, he agreed and nobody came in the whole week we was there!! If you wanted a dumbed you had to get up at 6am as by 7:30 they were all gone and half of the beds saved weren’t used until late afternoon which annoyed us, but the island opens at 10 so we used to go over around 9:45 and queue for it to open and easily got beds over there (it’s much quieter and closer to the snack bar) The food was ok, plenty of choice but just repetitive! The main pool gets really busy and the water gets pretty dirty but they do give it a good clean on a night. The pool bar offers a range of drinks, they closed it one day as they had an infestation of wasps!! The rooms are ok, little tip if you want to keep the air con on while your out pop a card in that you aren’t using! Keeps it switched on and you come back to a lovely cool room!!

This hotel for the price you pay is great, its clean and the food is ok. You are never going to get amazing food at an all inclusive hotel for this price. Drinks are great, snack bar was abit poor. One major problem for me was the wasps! they were everywhere around the pool, it was unbearable some days. I got bit twice from mosquitos, on the days i forgot to use my repellent we used the Avon Skin so soft and honestly it worked wonders!!! I would go back if there wasn't as many wasps! other than that the staff are lovely. Evening entertainment is good, they could do more with the kids but im not sure if that was just because it was the end of the season there was not that much going on for kids during the day.

One of the worst and most boring holidays I’ve ever been on. Don’t know where to start. There’s nothing going on in the daytime for kids, advertised kids club but didn’t hear about this or get asked by the animation team once. They are no where to be seen! No music around the pool. Pools are freezing cold. Can’t relax without dodging bees and flies. Entertainment was poor and far too loud! If you are in a front facing room, be prepared to get no sleep. Too loud, guests screaming and shouting. Walls are so thin you can hear every sound. The shop on site was poor. A fridge for drinks but only had about 6 bottles of water in there? No variety. The lady was so rude and snatched from my child. Was there for 5 nights and never been so bored. Nothing around the hotel, the ‘*****’ is poor and nothing much going on. The snack bar and food is non existent! Don’t go all inclusive it isn’t worth it. Was starving every day and ended up eating out just to get a decent meal. The food is so poor. Only good thing was breakfast, and even then the sausages and has browns had a strange taste and sausages pink in the middle. Beds uncomfortable. Shower is rubbish, either scolds you or it’s freezing the temp is up and down. Mosquitos are a big issue here. Between me and my daughter we have 15 bites. The animation team need to interact with guests more. The lifeguards need to pay attention and not sit on their phones. Seen police and ambulance here 3 Times in our 5 day stay. Would never go again. Absolute s**t show!!!

The hotel itself is absolutely fine, it’s a 3* after all. This is a budget hotel and provides great value for money. If you’re after a something special, pay more money. Simple. Staff - always friendly and accommodating Tui Rep - always visible and engaging. Food - fine to good. Lots of choice. Although, be prepared to eat out if you’re after something more authentic. Rooms - in need of some love. But always clean, no smells, and the beds were very comfortable. The issue is not with any of the above. It’s all with the clientele a budget all inclusive attracts. Most guests were in the same boat, they just wanted a nice getaway. The other 10-20% of the guest were just horrible larger louts, ruining other people’s holiday experience. These guests would drink all day and argue all night. Top tips; - Having read the reviews, I brought along ear plugs. This meant we were able to get a good enough sleep. If it wasn’t for these, then we wouldn’t have slept at all. - Use the island. For some reason the obnoxious drunks can’t be bothered to walk there. It’s very serene and quiet.

All round okay hotel the door doesn’t shut right and you have to really slam it for it to shut . Only one bed side plug (so annoying) also cracks on the floor ceiling our bed side draw was broken and left on our bed as soon as we checked in to our rooms . Food is decent but I found myself mostly eating chips and pizza . The pool IS WAS TOO COLD BOTH to be exact (don’t leave ur tow out they will take it and be very rude towards you . So meany kids about felt like I was in school the walls are paper fin and the people in the hotel are animals .

I was very skeptical of this holiday due to reading negative reviews just before. I wish I hadn’t read them because I couldn’t fault the hotel! All staff were friendly and helpful, entertainment was fantastic, food was lovely and facilities were great! Would definitely return to this hotel.
