What an incredible place! The palazzo is situated only 15 minutes outside from Gallipoli. If you enter the place you enter a world of good taste, fine decor and kindest hospitality. Salvatore, the owner, has wonderful ideas what to do and what to see. His own olive oil is delicious and the breakfast fantastic. Ww can recommand the palazzo 100%.

We were in Puglia last week and spent several nights here and had a lovely sleep in a fine room with excellent beds! Welcome is most cordial, the host is very friendly and helpful. The location is superb, everything is equally tasteful and cared for and exceptionally clean. Breakfast is fantastic and very charmingly provided by a lovely lady. An excellent location for us to go out every day by car and explore both the coast and inland. The host gave great dining tips in Alezio, so we could walk to a restaurant at our leisure in the evening. A very luxurious, clean palazzo. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is very good and the staff (especially Salvatore - owner) is very helpful with tips on places to visit and especially to eat! We would recommend this hotel for everyone visiting the Salento area.

The hotel is small and charming with everything you could dream of. Everything was so perfectly designed, newly renovated, well kept and very clean. Personal service from Salvatore and his family made us welcome and our very good friend Enza took care of us during breakfast, serving excellent decorated food. We will not hesitate to visit again next time we are in Puglia.

An astoundingly beautiful place to stay. The host was charming and helpful and the lovely Enza gave us breakfasts we won't forget in a hurry. So welcoming. Can't wait to come back. The local scenery and restaurants were delightful. An absolute must. Love Puglia ❤️

If you are visiting southern Italy Palazzo Castriota is a fabulous place to stay. The rooms are spacious and beautifully comfortable, decorated in the style of the region and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very quiet. The beach is a car ride nearby and there are plenty of places of historic interest to visit in the pretty town of Gallipoli. Staff were more than helpful booking great restaurants only a short walk away from the hotel. Breakfast by the pool is a real treat. The fare was local, fresh and traditional. All served by our lovely waiter. Thanks Palazzo Castriota for a lovely time.

Very special and warm place with a personal touch of Salvatore who helps you with every possible tip and Enza who makes the beautiful creation of fruits in the morning! We had a great time there. Nice small pool gives a possibility to relax, breakfast is wonderful.

We received a warm and friendly welcome. Salvatore (owner/manager) was extremely helpful and friendly, had good suggestions and assisted with bookings etc. Enza served a superb breakfast and kept topping up with coffee and fruits with a genuine smile and a chat. She was like a family member. The house is impressive and Salvatore has done an incredible job doing it up and it is very stylishly decorated in a traditional style (it was historically a working house for grape and olive harvests) with hi-tech features built in. Easy parking for rental car. Short drives to charming old town Gallipoli, beaches and neighbouring towns and villages, although not an awful lot happened in Alezio itself.
