I recently stayed at this apartment complex with another couple, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. We were placed in two apartments right beside the reception area, which turned out to be extremely noisy and busy throughout our stay. The constant noise made it difficult to relax or get a good night's sleep. To make matters worse, my friends had a major issue with their apartment's shower, which flooded during their stay. When they reported the problem, the staff handed them a plunger and casually mentioned that this was a regular occurrence in that particular apartment. As a result, they ended up coming to use our shower, which was far from ideal for everyone involved. On top of that, the walls in the apartments were paper-thin, and we could hear everything from crying babies to suitcases, doors, and even bed frames squeaking. It felt like we were constantly listening to the noise from neighboring rooms, making it impossible to get any peace. We did complain to management, and they offered a free breakfast as compensation, but honestly, a breakfast voucher hardly makes up for the discomfort we endured. We stayed for three nights in December, and it took six weeks for them to respond to our complaint. Given the noise, the plumbing issues, and the lack of timely communication from management, I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. It’s not worth the money, and there are far better options available.

We booked the apartment de luxe (called Alegre Minuet) because we wanted an apartment in Alicante old town with a balcony. The balcony turned out to be a Juliet balcony but it served the purpose and we felt part of the old town and were able to hear the chatter from the restaurants below when we were there during the day. It was a studio apartment for two people and a good size. There was a small kitchenette with two electric rings, a microwave, a coffee machine, electric kettle crockery and kitchen equipment. The apartment was tastefully decorated with antique green shutters and exposed stone wall. It had a small table (seating 4), sofa bed, TV and King/Queen sized double bed. The bed was very comfortable, made daily and we had one set of clean sheets in a 7 day stay - which was what was advertised. The shower was perfect with two options of shower head and bathroom supplies. We took our own beach towels. We had no problems getting in when we arrived as we pressed the buzzer for reception and they gave us a code. After that it was very easy with the keys. We understand that reception is open 10.00am - 7.00pm. They stored our luggage for us post-check out for the afternoon. Storage of luggage pre and post check in and out is a welcome additional service. The location is perfect, close to the beach and restaurants. There is a supermarket close-by. We had a fantastic time. We didn't really expect them to supply coffee refills as some other reviewers have said because those capsules are quite expensive. They did give us washing-up liquid and replenished the toilet rolls when we ran out. Some niggles: It can get noisy at night particularly at the weekend which is the price you pay for being in the thick of it (suggest earplugs) and there was a dead plant in the corner of the room that I kept knocking and it shed leaves every time I accidentally touched it. A dustpan and brush in the room was therefore needed, but there wasn't one. There was no room safe. We would have appreciated a washing machine - maybe a communal one? We would definitely rebook this accommodation.

What an absolutely charming stay we had. I was disappointed that we only stayed 2 nights at this location because it was really a magical experience both in the town and at the location. The check-in was incredibly easy. We received a call from the front desk to complete the check-in paperwork while we were on the train there to make the process go faster....incredibly convenient! We did not experience the sound issues that other travelers reported, but I always bring earplugs when I'm staying in boutique hotels or hotels in busy towns. Such a pretty room overlooking cafes and an impressive cathedral, near everything including the beach. The balcony is tiny and only for standing on but why would you want to spend time in your room in this city? I hope to return to this location and city! Thanks for the memories! ＜3

We spent a little extra to have s nice place in Alicante. Hard to get in. We arrived st 6 PM in the evening. We where stranded for 50 min first in the street until we had figured out how to get the luggage in and park the car. Then in the staircase filling out online forms including all our passport information. There is no reception. Haven’t met a human being yet - its all self service. Unnerving. We finally made it into our room - looks decent. Will go have a drink somewhere. Ps There is no running water in the bathroom. Time for another phone call.

The location is everything, it's a good place to be located and have everything at walking distance, however keep in mind the following: Unless you put the sign outside the door that you need the room to get clean they wont do it, even though is advertised with daily cleaning included. Then if your stay is going to be more than 3 nights and want your sheets to be changed need to talk with the maid and sometimes she is not there, otherwise they wont change it....if you need more soap for the shower or bath you also need to ask for it, they wont leave anything as if you need to ask for every single thing you need. They wont give you a beach towel even though there is a beach 5 minutes away but don't worry, better to buy one cheap one in a store...you can find some between 5 to 10 euros and can throw it away as there is no clothes washing machine in the aparments, but they do have small minibar and stove and are well equiped with coffe machine but again, they dont leave you the cartridges for the coffe machine....small things but that can make a whole different experience. For me the shower has the wrong tiles as the floor and walls are black...so if there is fungus you cant see it....

Stayed here for 4 nights. Easy check in and lovely staff. Clean spacious room. Cleaned every day and towels if required. We had breakfast option which was very good value in Madness coffee shop directly below apartment. Great location, near all pubs and restaurants.
