Allahabad Hotels with Gym

Nice hotel, with nice hospitality. Staff was very cooperative. Restaurant food was very good. We all had a happy and memorable experience. Of course the food price was a little higher!

We had a very good stay at hotel grand continental - prayagraj (allahabad) u. P. Manager mr ashish verma & mr mukarram, were very well behaved, polite & were very helpful. Hotel was clean & hygienic, food was nice, rooms & toilets were clean up to the mark. The managers & staff were prom t & responsive & well behaved we had a nice & happy stay.

The location and building are old but good. However the door locks are ancient in the digital age. The housekeeping department not trained. Despite complaining twice the shower in the bathroom nut fixed. The ultimate was check out experience. Despite my information to reception in the night the person on duty was still sleeping and guard dad to go back and wake. I was getting late because of my train timing and the bill was not ready. He refused to even tell his name. Charged me extra 4 k money for changing the room and refused to give receipt. I had ordered that my breakfast be given to me packed during the night itself but the receptionist failed to give me satisfactory answer. The ground staff were helpful and polite. Overall it was not a pleasant experience. Definitely not worth the reputation of mmt. Not worth repeating booking such hotels which don’t run professionally.
