This was by far the most disappointing hotel experience of my entire life, and I’ve stayed in over 800 hotels. Let me break down the nightmare we encountered at this place. First off, it’s clear this hotel is capitalizing on the Kumbh Mela event by charging an outrageous 5 times the regular rate, which would be acceptable if the service matched the inflated price. But that was far from the case. There’s virtually no staff available to assist, and those who are present are completely untrained. Our cook didn’t even know what was on the menu, which made ordering food a frustrating experience. To top it off, after multiple requests, the guard himself had to make our tea. And the worst part? They don’t even have a proper billing system in place. We were asked to pay an advance of ₹25,000, but to this day, no bills have been provided. This is a huge red flag, especially for a place charging such high rates. It wasn’t just us – we overheard multiple guests, at least nine others, voicing the exact same complaints during our stay from the 10th to the 11th. It’s clear that this hotel is taking advantage of guests with zero regard for customer service or proper operations. Avoid this place at all costs. There are countless other options that offer better value and actual hospitality. This hotel is a complete scam.
