"Clean and will repeat next. I like the food stall near hotel, their bihun sup utara is superb. Near hotel lotus is very big and their food court have many choice of food."
"It was raining heavily and my room was leaking. What's more, the soundproofing was very poor. The noise from the cars and motorcycles on the road made me sleep poorly for almost the whole night. But the rest was pretty good."
"My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this homestay.
The accommodation itself was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated that made us feel right at home. The room had everything we needed, including a comfortable dining table, bedding, hairdryer, heaters, Wi-Fi, and most importantly, excellent water pressure!
The location was ideal, with food stalls and convenient stores nearby. We also felt very safe with its security door.
The only minor point for improvement was that there were no extra keys provided for our family of six, which made it a bit challenging at times.
Overall, we highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a peaceful, hassle-free place to stay. It was an unforgettable experience, and we would love to return!"
"The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions."
"We stayed one night in a Deluxe room.
Location is close to town centre and eateries.
Room is reasonable size but unfortunately only twin beds available on our dates.
Facilities to place the suitcases and laptop bag is a plus point. Ironing board, iron and hairdryer are provided in the room for our convenience too. Tea and coffee making facilities and bottled water are provided.
Bathroom has no dedicated shower cubicle, just shower head over the bath tub. Unfortunately the is no shower curtain! Imagine the water on the floor when we had a wash...
Room was noisy, be able to hear next door conversations and TV.
Breakfast is a let down compared to the other hotel nearby.
Reasonable amount of free parking in front of the hotel for the guests."
"One of the newer boutique hotel in Alor Setar, limited reserve parking is available, spacious room with sofa seating and game arcades. Nearby to Bistro, Eatery and Cafes Overall a decent stay."
"I did already write about the room that i stayed in, so here i’ m writing about their fnb, Suggestions actualy.
1) Have two persons to manage the omelete station, with 2 cooking device. The waiting is quite long at busy hour.
2)I consider myself a regular there and everytime the main bfast course would be nasi lemak with pasta or nasi lemak with fried noodle or nasi lemak with smthing .please, Kedah is a food haven, try something else, rotate, whatever.
3)2 days in a row, fruits were papaya and pineapple. Somethg else pls
Apart from the single room n fnb, the rest i am satisfied with.Would like to continue being a regular if they would consider changing the menu a bit and get rid of stained curtains and bed covers, plus, make the phone and tv works everytime. Suddenly thats a lot to take into consideration….hmm"

Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway."

BBP KohIt’s a great hotel n easy to find. Clean n very near to many places like restaurant n shopping mall. The best part is near to NKVE exit.
WWan Adrianagreat location however parking is a bit hassle. cleanliness is so-so. toilet not that properly clean. and towel seems to be very old. room got smoking smell, but the reception boy is very helpful to change our room to a better one 👍 no amenities provided but can buy from a shop nearby the hotel.
ZzulThe room is okay but i found some hair on the mattress.. need to improve on the cleanliness.. the toilet position is not very convenient.. the water heater is good but there is no control for the temperature.. the electrical plug location is not at the suitable place.. the rest is okay..
AAnonymous UserExcellent location with nearby mall, food courts, and supermarts. Cleanliness needs improvement, for example, the towels. Overall good value for money paid.
HHD RyanOverall stay was good, in term of location, easy access restaurant and shops, room cleanliness, safety and security systems. However, area need to improve is WiFi connection not so stable during 3 days 2 night stay need to change different username and password for 2 every day. On 2nd day I can't sleep properly due to noisy from another guest room at level 4, door room was bang strongly by another guest when closed the door... The rest good.
DDba RpaaI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Star City Hotel in Alor Setar, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed. The staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to ensure I had a comfortable stay. My room was spotless and well-maintained, and the food was absolutely delicious. The hotel's central location made it incredibly convenient to explore the city on foot, with easy access to shopping malls and popular tourist attractions. Overall, my experience at Star City Hotel was superb, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Alor Setar.
GGuest UserMy stay at the hotel was just nice. While the room was clean and quiet, the water pressure was slow, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, parking was difficult to find, which added some inconvenience to the overall experience.
GGuest UserThe hotel offers a beautiful, mesmerizing view of the paddy fields. The rooms are super clean and cozy, and breakfast includes a delicious variety of foods. Just across the street, there are many stalls offering a wide range of local dishes. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserEverything is beyond expectation. Did not expect our stays at this hotel this good. The receptionist is helpful. Aircond, heater function well. Only the hallway carpet are bit dented and old but no weird smell. Breakfast or sahur during Ramadhan don't have many variations.
