Restaurant & Hotel Ruland is located in the centre of Altenahr and offers German cuisine. Furnishings and decoration provide a welcoming character. Food is good and service is adequate & friendly. We came on a weekday and the restaurant was busy, a good sign. The menu of Ruland is traditional. We went for Trout Müllerin with Potatoes & Salad, and Pasta with Chanterelles, accompanied by a Grauburgunder. Both dishes were tasty and the wine was nice. Recommended.

Went to this hotel with high expectations, but overall disappointing experience. Upon arrival no explanation about the hotel from the receptionist (no information about the sauna, dinner, wifi…). The hotel was not aware that we had booked half board. We had to ask for this ourselves and after much difficulty we were able to reserve a table in the restaurant. The next day the same problem, with much difficulty they were able to free a table for us, even though we had booked half board well before. Someone from the hotel staff refused to serve us because she did not speak English. Very outdated room with musty smell. Hygiene is an area for improvement (toothpaste splashes on the mirror, hair of previous guest in bathroom ...). Bathroom is also very small. The only positive thing about this hotel is the food which we really enjoyed.

JAZZ-KLAVIER-LOUNGE Ein gelungener Abend mit Musik und Essen! Musik 👍👍👍, das Essen👍👍👍 sehr gut, Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich, Die Übernachtung im Brunnenhaus und das Frühstück waren wie immer perfekt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Ruland ist ein modernes und großzügiges Hotel mit einer fantastischen Küche. Die Zimmer sind modern und sehr geräumig. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Man kann im Tagungsraum gut Tagen. Es stehen jede Menge Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Und wer wandern oder Fahrrad fahren möchte, kann direkt am Hotel loslegen.

Dieses Hotel kann ich nur empfehlen. Wir waren schon einmal da und sind wieder begeistert. Schöne Zimmer, hervorragendes Restaurant, nettes Personal und einen Top-Chef und ein sehr leckeres Frühstück, danke für Alles. Hervorragender Parkplatz.

Ma femme et moi avons réservé 2 nuits pour profiter de la région et des marchés de Noel pour la période des fêtes 🤩 Dès notre arrivée, l'accueil a été irréprochable et le logement "Brunnenhaus" est de toute beauté et les aménagements soignés et magnifiques. L'espace détente et sauna très zen et propre. Pour la suite pour le repas au restaurant, le chef et son équipe sont EXTRAORDINAIRES ! le service impeccable, aimable, de qualité et les plats et le menu concoctés par le "Chef" sont succulents 😍 ... Pour finir, le matin, au petit déjeuner, le choix varié "sucré-salé" ainsi que l'efficacité des serveurs restent de qualité. Nous reviendrons certainement. Encore merci au chef et sa brigade pour ces très bons moments dans un très bon établissement...

Wij waren er drie nachten in juni 2020. Het is ons erg goed bevallen. De service was prima, het personeel erg vriendelijk. Wij hadden een aanbieding via enkele dagen weg geboekt. Ik denk dat ik voor deze prijs nooit meer een zo goed hotel krijg. Ook de manier en de behulpzaamheid van de mensen van enkele dagen weg was uitstekend. De keuken was nier echt goedkoop maar wel uitstekend. De omgeving is erg mooi voor twee of drie dagen, dan heb je het wel gezien. Wij zijn erg tevreden. H.Boss

Heel fijn hotel, prima kamers. Gelegen aan het riviertje en op loopafstand van het station. Veel wandel en fiets mogelijkheden op alle niveaus. Er is een biergarten, een groot balkon waar ontbeten kan worden en een restaurant. Het eten in dit hotel is van topkwaliteit! Personeel vriendelijk, behulpzaam en beleefd.
