The location of the hotel was very nice. It was a clean hotel and the staff was friendly. The room we stayed in had a sea view. The view is really beautiful. But there are only towels and soap in the room. The refrigerator heats instead of cooling. In the all-inclusive application, the ingredients used for meals and drinks were bad. High-fat meals created a strong odor in the main restaurant. Desserts were too sugary and unhealthy. The fruits were not fresh. The peanut style cookies in the open buffet were stale. There were no food or drink alternatives for the diet at all. Among the drinks, wine was of very poor quality. While drinks were unlimited, Turkish coffee was extra. In general, I recommend having better quality and less variety of food and beverages.

Overall a great hotel, but for a 5 star there are some downsides. The only cups in the room are paper disposable ones. For breakfast, some things are already dried out and weathered - you have to look carefully and choose.

Arrived early hours of Sunday morning were shown to a room that wasn’t what we had booked …. No sea view! Reception explained that none were available, speak in the morning …. Had this before, starts things on a sour note because you loose a day of your holiday waiting for a room so you can unpack and settle. First room okay, but smelt really badly of sewage. Correct room (when we got it) was lovely, probably the best we’ve had in Turkey, spacious, everything you need - fridge, safe, good shower/wet room, fab views - although sewage smell still lingered, worse at some times of the day. Unfortunately the room was definitely the best bit and we don’t come on holiday to sit in our room! On to the rest, this hotel could be great with a little thought and care. Pool area - very few sunbeds, as limited space, a lot of which are broken, pool cleaned, but pool area dirty, didn’t see anyone cleaning around the pool or cleaning the tables etc, grubby. It does have a ‘private beach’ a few minutes walk away, but this is filthy! A lot of the sunbeds broken, the sunbed covers were absolutely disgusting, the beach area full of rubbish and cigarette butts, pool bar had no beer on occasions so only serving soft drinks and coffee, very poor standard. Hotel only has one bar, not well appointed and poorly staffed, inexperienced youngsters who rarely smile (even if you smile at them!). The restaurant is typical Turkish hotel food, although a lot less choice than at some I’ve been to, salads, fruit and breads as expected, but hot choice less than perfect, chicken and fish in the main, found something to eat at breakfast and lunch but ate out every evening which did add to the holiday expense. Hotel a bit out of the way so need to get a Taxi either into Altinkum or Didim as both are quite a walk away. Having been to a few areas and hotels in Turkey we know 5* is not a British 5* and fully understand that, however this is definitely on the lower side but could easily be improved with a little care and attention. Certainly not a hotel we would return to ….. but the weather was fab for October 😊

A restaurant on the 11th floor which was apparently closed however we didn’t receive any information before arrival or even before booking. This is a 5 star hotel. The cleaning service/cleaners from the hotel daily came into the room, walked about for 5 seconds, and left the room again. What type of cleaning is that?It is more of an inspection rather than a cleaning,we had to ask several times throughout our time in Turkey for towels independently because they weren’t being provided as they should, also once our towels were changed we were provided with 1 towel to share between 3 people, also we had to ask for toilet paper several times throughout our time on holiday, they didn’t even realise we needed it as they entered the room, took a step into the hallway, and left again. If any of us had a shower,we would take a few steps from the shower to our bedroom, which our feet would be covered in lots of debris and dust and dirt. The water was absolutely filthy,it was brown and had dirt in it,my partners son was sick for 2 days after using the water because we had no other option at night time on our very first day as we arrived late(late flight) In a 5 star hotel. They couldn’t communicate properly in English and often we were asked if we can speak Russian.I think if you're running a hotel as a receptionist it is mandatory to know the basics of the English language. We were asking about our transfer from the hotel to the airport 2 days prior to our departure which they would keep repeating to me that the information will be given the next day,we came back the next day 1 day before out departure and they said the same thing,we came back on the same day off our departure and they told us they don’t have the information yet which left us worried and stressed out for the final day of our holiday,we only found out 3 hours before the actual transfer(5PM found out and 8PM we left) If I knew that this experience was going to be like this then I would’ve not paid this high of an amount for a 5 star hotel because all this stress and problem solving ourselves had left us unhappy with this hotel,if someone gave me a discount for half price for the exact same experience ,then I would decline.I thought if I pay a proper price for a proper hotel I will be satisfied but in fact it was the exact opposite.

Arrived 7 am after all night flight/travel.. was given upgrade to room 1805. Beautiful room with beautiful view… unfortunately the smell coming from the bathroom was that strong you couldn’t breathe without gagging. Another room was shown on 11th floor… same smell so rejected… was then shown room 1613 other side of building. This was ok till 2nd to last night when smell returned.., it was early hours in the morning (3/4 am) so I placed towels over the shower drain & opened patio windows. We didn’t want or need hassle of moving again for the 3rd time. Beautiful looking hotel but the rooms were not cleaned daily… the floors were never cleaned during our stay. Entertainment was music played at side of pool….. that’s it. Trip advisor says this hotel is ultra all inclusive so does their own website…if this was the case the Al a cart should have been open till 30th October, also 24 hour drinks… I couldn’t get a glass of coke for breakfast. The alcohol was not international as stated it should be. Coffee machine was empty several times and so was the juice machine. This hotel state on their on website that they make birthdays special. Not true.. having mentioned on check in and walking around with sashes, badges and a crown showing it was a birthday….also room decorated with birthday banners….. only 1 member of staff actually said happy birthday and that was a lovely gentleman in dining hall. Food was as expected, not great but didn’t starve. We ate out most of the time due to getting an egg of the smell from the drains. Never in a million years is this above a 2 star.

Definitely not a 5 star. Would not come here again. Staff are rude 😒 full of Russians. Food is terrible only caters for some people hardly any English food. Not great for children. No entertainment all week just music. Hotel is nice but apart from that nothing really great about this hotel.
