So impressed with the Hotel and its Staff. We took our 10 month year old with us on his first holiday and the Hotel accommodated for all of us. The food was excellent at both the morning breakfast buffet and me and my wife also ate at The Grill and really enjoyed our meal. There was also a fantastic Halloween style Buffet that the staff at the Hotel had put a lot of effort into making everyone enjoy their evening. The best thing about the Hotel is its hardworking and kind staff. A special shout out to Asad, who was so kind and attentive to our family.

Just back from another golf trip to Penina. This year and last I read terrible reviews about the course and the hotel being tired. For the second year running we found the championship course in good condition a few bare patches off the fairways but fairways and greens were excellent. Admittedly I think there had been some rain in the weeks leading up to our visit but it was fine. The hotel is excellent. Whilst more traditional in style rather than modern, it’s clean and tidy and very nice. Breakfasts are great as is the food in the golf bar.

Spent ten days at Penina, play much golf on Sir Henry Cotton. The greens where great, fairways have seen better days but are ok. The staff is very friendly and the service great. Room was small but we did not come here to stay in the room. We came to play golf and we did.

The hotel is good enough and the staff are friendly. The swimming pool is great. The food on the Italian night was excellent. The breakfast was average at best. The Henry Cotton bar was relaxing and good food was served…..and then there’s the golf courses. Oh dear. Minimum 5 hour rounds each day. The fairways were almost non existent. Had to play preferred lies and sometimes use a tee. Some tee boxes were covered in sand so we had to play from the fairway. The bunkers on the championship course were like cement. The Resort course was the worst I’ve ever played. The package was very cheap so maybe you get what you pay for.

Overall Not satisfied Starting from Check in process, Dinner venue Staff It's a classic example of Services and Hospitality of 1980's The hotel needs renovation Staff are rigid to do the work as they want, Opinions are not heard and welcomed The kind of space this hotel has, it can do wonders
