Tigh Na Leigh

I stayed here for 1 night for work. Graham and Karen are amazing hosts, noting too much trouble. Karen is a fantastic cook who makes her own bread and served me amazing rack of lamb. Graham did well to show her how to plate a wee joke. Room was stunning, with contemporary and traditional style. Bed was very comfy and the bathroom recently refurbished was perfect. I even sent my husband a link to the website and hopefully planning a weekend away to stay. Unfortunately I didn't manage to try breakfast but I definitely will next time. Thank you both

We stayed for four nights at Tigh na Leigh guest house in Alyth. Our hosts, Graham and Karen, made us very welcome and we had an exceptionally comfortable and enjoyable visit. The bedroom was both spacious and cosy – beautifully furnished and decorated – with a lovely view over the pretty garden. The ensuite was extremely well appointed. The whole house is tastefully presented with attractive colour schemes and furnishings throughout. Breakfast is prepared to order every morning from a menu offering a wide range of delicious dishes hot and cold. We particularly recommend the home-made granola and the tasty ‘full Scottish’. Graham has a superb knowledge of the tourist attractions, beauty spots and lesser known, hidden treasures of the district and beyond. We particularly appreciated his helpfulness when we were planning our trips each day, as he was able to provide all the information we needed and to suggest places to eat and to visit that we might not otherwise have thought of. He also provided useful maps with routes clearly marked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are delighted to recommend Tigh na Leigh most highly. Definitely one of the best guest houses we have ever had the pleasure of staying in.

Stayed here on a recent cycle tour, the owners Graham and Karen have certainly got this nailed! Exceptional property, great breakfast, this place is an object lesson in how to run a hotel/b&b. Thoroughly recommend that if you’re looking for a special place to stay in Alyth, then this is it.

Absolutely luxurious very comfortable bed and peaceful surroundings. Even better than a 5 star hotel. Luxurious Highland soap products in bathroom. Scrumptious breakfast served by delightful owners overlooking scenic gardens Cannot wait to return. Highly recommend.

Had a fantastic night away at Tigh na Leigh. Karen & Graham are very warm and friendly and make excellent hosts. Our room was stunning, and very comfortable - the whole property is beautiful throughout. We had dinner which was beautifully prepared by Karen and served by Graham, who helpfully had lots of ideas for local walks and places of interest nearby. Breakfast the next morning was equally as delicious, with home made bread and jams. We would highly recommend and we definitely plan to return in the future.

Gorgeous guest house. Welcomed on arrival and given a tour. They have an amazing garden!! Somewhere you could finish your day in, with a fire pit, paths to walk through the garden. Very clean and the decor is fantastic. Each room is different and decorated to a high standard. We stayed in room 3. We had our own living area that lead to our bedroom and new walk in shower bathroom that had a drench shower. Amazing!!! I didn't want to get out of the shower. Towels, tea and coffee and water provided. You access to the rooms downstairs and the garden. Can come and go as you please. You can have food there also. We had breakfast in the morning. Included in price. It was amazing!. They provided home grown produce and homemade produce. The granola was delicious. We also have fresh coffee and a Scottish breakfast that includes eggs from their own chickens. Oh and homemade rhubard jam yum!!! I can't fault this guesthouse at all. Graeme and Karen were lovely. Karen does the cooking and she's a credit to the guest house. Graeme was brilliant. Telling us and others their about places to see nearby. He suggested to us about a waterfall nearby. We went there before heading home. Very happy we did. They are approachable, friendly and very helpful. We will stay here again and I would highly recommend others to do so also. Great amenities nearby also. Shops, pub and a great chippy!. We walked around the area after dinner and it was lovely.
