Residenza Pansa B&B

Charming, small hotel, right in the middle of Amalfi, very convenient for the main square and port area. It is only possible to reach it on foot up two fairly steep flights of steps. However, parking and porters for suitcases is organised by the hotel and everything worked just fine for us. A very helpful lady greeted us and showed us to our room with a small balcony and sie view towards the sea. Breakfast is served in the main square via a voucher and is very good. Bathroom a little on the small side but had everything you require and the bedroom was a decent size with excellent shutters to ensure darkness for sleeping and quietness from the road below.

We really enjoyed this property. Our room was spacious and had a really nice balcony with a partial sea view. The location is absolutely perfect - very close to the Duomo and right in the middle of all the charm of the old town. Everyone was very friendly - we received great directions at check-in to all the activities that interested us. Breakfast is served at a separate property, but it's only a 2 or 3 minute walk, plus we had a breakfast table right in front of the Duomo! Highly recommended.

A pleasant stay at Residenza Pansa!! Susy & Noemi at Reception were very friendly and helpful. The Room was comfortable with a terrace and partial seaview. It does have many steps to the Hotel but was aware of this when booking the accommodation.

Great location for this lovely hotel. Hotel room was perfect for what we needed with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the sea and great sun loungers. Very clean. The two ladies on the front desk were super helpful and very lovely. Could not do enough for us giving us all the information and even going to the restaurant to get us milk - thank you. The hotel is in the middle of Amalfi town so a perfect location however it is up a set of maybe 60 steps so bear this in mind if you struggle with steps. Would definitely go back !

The location of this B&B is perfect, just a 2 min walk from the main square and 5 min to the beach&port. There’s 2 sets of stairs to get to the B&B but we managed fine with 3 cases. The room was clean and spacious and the terrace was beautiful with a sea view. The staff are very friendly and helpful and you get discount in their restaurant in the main square (it’s the one with the best views and a great menu, as seen in the pic)

We stayed at Residenza Pansa middle of last month 16th & 17th July 2022 for 2 nights. Loved the location as it’s so close to the Duomo square which was ideal! Some of the reviewers have mentioned a lot of steps which is absolutely correct & anyone with mobility issues will struggle to get to Pansa. If you want to stay here you will need to book early as it’s a small place & gets fully booked months in advance. The website says B&B but there is no restaurant at the location. The owner has a restaurant in the square where you can get meals at a discounted rate. We had already read about it on Tripadvisor so were fine with it. If you contact Pansa they will get back to you with whatever information you require. Receptionist was always very helpful & polite. Porter service is available & they will carry your bags from the car up to Pansa but reception need to be informed ahead of time. Pansa can also arrange valet parking through a third party who will keep the keys as location is not close & charge €30 a day but remember that they take only cash. Once again this needs to be arranged with reception in advance. Towels are changed everyday & toiletries are provided. We had booked a superior room with a partial view. This was the only thing that was slightly disappointing as view of the sea wasn’t what I expected. I think I would stay here again just for the location.
