The service was terrible. The chairs at the table in our room weren't working. I sat on one of them for New Year's Eve dinner, and it broke. I fell to the floor, hitting my back and neck. I had to take painkillers. I reported the situation to the hotel manager, and she told me she didn't know what to do. After inspecting the other chairs at the table, they were in the same condition: loose and about to break. The shower door was broken and didn't work either. It was truly a rather unpleasant experience, and for the price paid for one night, it was a steal considering the conditions offered. It's worth noting that when I fell to the floor, the food on the table fell on me and damaged the clothes I was going to wear for New Year's Eve. I demand a refund for all the ordeals I had to endure. Thank you.

We had a very great time, the place is charming, with a warm welcoming and staff. The terrace is really beautiful and you can have your breakfast on it, really nice breakfast according to Italian standard. The room was clean, we really enjoyed it. Location is great, near the center but still quiet. Be aware you have to climb some stairs to get there, not so many stairs, but still.

We loved this cute little place. Full of charm yet very comfortable. Absolutely will stay there again when on the Amalfi Coast. The hotel breakfast was perfect. Just remember that it is 53 steps to get there but worth every one! Located right in the middle of town with all the nightlife, beaches and fun!

Absolutely avoid at all costs. Not only was the property in complete disgust the staff are barely in existence except when they come to put the breakfast spread on in the tiny corridors (not worth eating anything!) the shower was rusted and didn’t work complained to staff - nothing was done to rectify. No soap holder, shower leaked through whole room, not even tissues supplied and the worst part was the super old stained towels supplied. I would use them as rags. I paid a ridiculous amount of money for 2 rooms and gifted the other party in our group. I am so embarrassed I stayed there and felt robbed. Nothing good about the property except they have wifi.

I was traveling with my 83 year old father and booked a night at Residenza Sole. After climbing the very steeps steps up to the building we already saw people waiting outside the building frustrated that there was nobody there. We waited a long time and tried to get in touch with the owner, the pincode for the door didn’t function . When she finally arrived she wasn’t very friendly and we had a bad feeling about the place. We asked if we could see the room and the answer was no, first she wants two passports or she wont show the room. It was a strange situation because she put the key to the room in the door and opened it and with the other hand demanded the passports. We decided not to stay there. I asked if she was going to charge us anyway and the answer was that its just a booking there will be no charge. Of course the next day the full amount was charged by Residenza Sole. I have decided to use *********** only to find hotels but not to book or pay in advance anymore. Rooms are hardly ever fully booked and its better to get a first feeling of the place and its people. *********** still tries to make you believe rooms are almost fully booked but i saw from experience this is never the case. Avoid Residenza Sole.

B&B located in an excellent position just a short distance from the sea and the historic center of Amalfi. Clean hotel with large, air-conditioned rooms. Basic breakfast but of excellent quality. Friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely be back

DO NOT STAY HERE YOU RUN RISKS WITH RESERVATIONS. Start, my wife and I are 71 years old, we are married for 50 years and we decided to travel from Argentina to this hotel. We made reservations many months in advance. According to them my card was not valid, I gave them details of 4 cards and told them that I would pay them in cash if they continued to have problems with cards. I clarify that I was using them without problems in shops and hotels in Europe. They took forever to respond. Three days before entering my wife sprained her ankle and I ask them how to enter, they tell me that my reservation was cancelled. They are disastrous people, swindlers of the good faith of the tourist who chooses them. They left me on the street without warning, with my injured wife and 71 years old. embarrassing, bad people
