3-Star Hotels in Amarillo

The beds are great and we had a wonderful night's sleep. The room and bathroom were very clean and nicely kept up. I love that the Marriott hotels have the pump shampoo, conditioner and gel attached to the wall of the shower. No more little plastic bottles to throw away. Breakfast had many good choices. Everybody was very friendly. We recommend this hotel highly if you are in Amarillo.

The hotel is amazing! Great parking, clean, great rooms, outstanding front desk-customer service. Liz, from front desk was absolutely helpful and patient in responding all of our questions, she took the time to explain the difference between the hotel next door which is the same but not. After a long road trip and stopping at multiple hotels in different states, this one has been the best one so far. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel and talking to Liz if at all possible, she will greet you with a big smile and will make you feel welcomed right away!

We had an early morning flight and opted to stay here because of past good experiences. Very clean, friendly staff and very close to the hospital and medical facilities. Early morning the drive across town to the airport was easy, 15 minutes.

The hotel and service was everything you would expect from a Marriott property. Staff was super friendly and attentive to any needs. Hotel is modern, clean, and up to date for a location that was built in 1927. Surprising good night life and several restaurants that are within walking distance of the hotel. Several right across the street. A very quiet pleasant stay. Didn't hear people coming or going from their rooms at all hours of the nights. I had a room that was next to the elevator and never heard it once and this was on a busy weekend. The only downfall with the property was a lack of pool/spa. So this may or may not be a deal breaker if you are trying to entertain kids.

Traveling with my dog and decided to stay here. Very nice property, but there was a $75 pet cleaning fee. I doubt I will stay here again.

My husband and I spent 2 nights here while on a road trip. The 6 story hotel is centrally located just off a highway. Check in was efficient and friendly. We reserved a spacious 2 room suite with 2 queens that had a kitchenette with sink, fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. There were plenty of cabinets but no dishes or equipment in them. It would have been nice to have some glasses and silverware. The Wi-fi and AC worked well. One odd thing we noticed was that the main room door to the hall had a 1 inch gap at the bottom and you could see the shadow of people's feet walking by. You could also hear them talking and their footsteps were noisy at times. We used the AC to create white noise. The beds were just ok with firmer mattresses than are comfortable for us. Drury is known for their free evening ”Kick Back” social gatherings in the lobby with rotating themed buffets and 3 alcoholic drinks per adult. We took advantage and didn't have to go out to a restaurant. The free breakfast buffet was also well stocked with a variety of hot and cold items. We are fans of Drury for their customer service and overall care for their facilities. We would return again.

The hotel is very big and there are quite a lot of people staying during our Thanksgiving holiday. The room is big enough and the basic facilities are new enough, but there is a thin layer of scale on all kinds of glass, which may be related to the water quality. During the covid period, the hotel’s breakfast is to send out a packing box and go for breakfast like a canteen. There are various types of doughnuts, cakes and fruits for cold food, and oatmeal scrambled eggs, sausages and fries for hot food. There are almost no free parking spaces in the hotel. There is a garage across the street for 7 yuan a day. There are many (more than ten) street parking spaces at the door. It is free all day on weekends and evenings on weekdays.

Definitely pick somewhere else to stay. This hotel actually CHARGES you to park there. I have never heard of hotels doing this unless you are downtown in a major city or parking in a parking garage. Not only that, the rooms are super outdated. Plus, our TV doesn’t work, and they only gave us one coffee pod for our Keurig. Oh and there is no free breakfast. Plus side is that the staff is nice and there is a bar. But all the little things you get charged for and/or don’t have will cause me to never stay here again.

Reception very helpful overall and met lots of friendly staff. (Shout out to the gentleman who's a huge Paul McCartney fan and made us all feel very welcome, thank you ever so much). On our last day, housekeeping knocks at 12:01 pm, our ”please don't disturb sign” hanging on the door. I tell her we asked for a late check out at 2pm. She says a not-so friendly ”o-kay” and she doesn't look very happy. A few minutes later, reception calls the phone and says they weren't made aware but confirms the late checkout. At 12.30, a different lady from housekeeping again knocks on our door and I say I just got a call from reception confirming a late check out at 2pm. She politely smiles and apologises and says she didn't know about that. Just a slight mishap in communication, I guess. (I'm aware that housekeeping don't go around holding apps to read every update in communication). Just that, we got at least two phone calls asking how our stay has been (which is nice) and on the second phone call the day before we were to check out, my husband mentioned the late check out request. With all the lovely attempts to check how our stay has been, I was just a bit surprise that our request was overlooked.

I was able to get the floor and location I requested. Staff was helpful and friendly. The room was very nice and comfortable. I especially appreciate Taylor for all her help. She was attentive and nice. She is a true professional, what I really appreciate most about Taylor, is that she never grew tired of the request. Awesome place and people!!!.
