Value for money. Friendly staffs with good service. Hotel hosts are always helpful. Strategic location. Beautiful lake view with cottages just beside Lake Toba.
Food are delicious. Easy to get help to rent motorcycle. The most appreciated part was hotel gave us a warm pick up from the harbour. Weather are cold and the mountain views are spectacular. Highly recommended to stay in this well-equipped hotel.

Tuk Tuk Timbul is an ideal great value for money bungalow style hรดtel with a mix of modern constructed and as well as traditional batak constructed bungalows, which are all ensuite and with views directly on the lake shore for beautiful panoramas. The staff are very amicable and easy to laugh with. The restaurant area is also on the lake shore with a comprehensive list of Indonesian and local stylised western food. Everything we tried was tasty with generous portions.
