Pelican Reef Villas Resort

What a wonderful oasis the Pelican Reef is….the villas are spacious, clean, well-stocked and comfortable. The staff goes above and beyond whether it was Mildred making reservations for us, Carlos serving drinks, or the maintenance staff that delivered coconuts with straws to our door after they saw our son trying with no luck to crack one. The property is beautiful and we were able to snorkel and kayak right from the resort dock. I’d highly recommend this property for your stay in San Pedro…just make sure to rent a golf cart!

The staff were very helpful with excursions and recommendations! The accommodations were as advertised. We ate breakfast there every morning and it was delicious. The seating by the water is very comfortable and the view is great. I would recommend a golf cart (which they can arrange) to get around town. Go to Belize! The people are friendly, there is so much to do and it’s a beautiful country.

Everything about Pelican Reef Villas was amazing. The rooms were huge with each room having a bathroom. The drinking water was changed out every time the place was cleaned, so never had to ask. Fully equipped kitchen. Every single staff member was very friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks were very tasty and fast service. It was very easy to book excursions through PRV. The pier was great for snorkeling, saw some rays and many fish right off of the little reef by the pier. It is a great, quiet place for relaxing and not having to think or plan anything.

Came to get scuba certification and left with a love of the resort and the island. Tristen and the bar tender were both very helpful and knowledgeable. Check in and check out were as expected. Plan on renting a golf cart as the resort is on the southern half of the island in a nice private beach with pier.

We spent 5 nights here in an ocean front 3 bedroom, 3 bath unit. The unit was clean, comfortable and very spacious. We didn't cook but the kitchen looked like it was well stocked. The views from the balcony were incredible. We loved that it was a condo but ran like a hotel. Breakfast is made to order every morning and included in your stay. The staff was some of the best we have encountered. They always had a smile and were willing to help. They helped us book our flights to the island and our transfer to the hotel as well as some last minute tours. The pool is small but adequate with a swim up bar. You can relax on the beach or dock. We were able to swim right off the dock. There was some grasses in the water but off the dock was clean. Towel service for the pool/beach was included. You get a card per person to exchange for towels as needed. It's about a 15 minute golf cart ride to downtown San Pedro which we enjoyed. It's mostly a dirt road but drivable. We were also able to make it to Secret Beach by golf cart one day. Boat tours pick you up right at the dock which is super convenient. There are a few restaurants close by but we usually chose to drive into town to eat. The onsite restaurant is very good for lunch and reasonably priced (great nachos, salads, guacamole). would highly recommend this to families who want the comfort and space of a condo but like the service that comes with a hotel. Wish all places were run like this!

The condo was perfect for 2 families with 2 teens and the resort was beautiful. Super peaceful and relaxing but still enough to do for teens. The staff at pelican reef was amazing- all of them. Everyone there was incredibly helpful and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better week.
