Amazing location close to centre and staff all very welcoming. The room was modern and cosy, large TV and coffee and tea/biscuits left out. Great that they provided body wash. No fridge in the room so don’t take anything you need to keep cold.

The hotel is newly renovated, the parking lot is not far away, the room is clean and tidy, there are a lot of teas and the two biscuits are delicious, the town is peaceful, the environment is quiet, the sleep is very comfortable, the landlord is also very good, staying one more day is only 50 pounds, it is worth recommending

The Fell Rooms are excellent - very clean, spacious rooms with good sized bathrooms and wonderful showers. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Although out room was at the front of the building, we didn't notice the traffic on the road at all. It's only a very short walk to all of Ambleside's shops, cafes, pubs, etc. The reception staff in the adjacent hotel were very welcoming and friendly. We only stayed one night but we would definitely use the Fell Rooms again.

Fantastic accommodation in a great location in Ambleside! Our room (21) was spotless and very comfortable with absolutely everything we needed for a family of 3 with a young child offering us the perfect place to enjoy Ambleside. Parking next door is ideal. Couldn't recommend Ambleside Fell Rooms highly enough! 10/10!

Friendliest staff and wonderful room! So cozy and perfectly located for what my family and I needed, we found the bed to be incredibly comfortable, the room was very clean and the view from our window was beautiful - would absolutely stay again!

We had a lovely stay! The room was spacious and the staff was delightful and so accommodating. We had family staying nextdoor in the sister location- Ambleside Townhouse what was equally lovely. The heated towel bar was a nice surprise. Location was just right, close to everything but far enough from the noise of late night festivities. The sound between rooms did carry more than we anticipated, but that didn't take away from a great visit.

I stayed here for two nights with my 20-year-old son as we were doing day hikes in the area, after hiking the Hadrian‘s wall. It is a lovely hotel, beautifully and tastefully appointed. Our room was quite spacious and it provides everything you need, including coffee and tea for the morning. It is located steps away from the centre, so very close to all the shops. We didn’t even need a car to get to the start of a very challenging 18 km trail. It wasn’t really disturbing, but I would ask for a room on the backside of the hotel, as you can hear a little bit of traffic if you have a room facing the road. I would highly recommend Ambleside Fell Rooms.
