The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the bus stops 555, 599 and Ambleside. From the windermere train station, you can easily reach by bus. The hotel is a bit far from the town centre of Windermere, but it can also be reached on foot. The hotel is a sister hotel with the low wood bay. Guests with waterhead can go to the low wood bay for sports facilities, see the hotel's instructions. It is worth mentioning that we originally stayed for three nights, but only booked for two nights of accommodation, for the convenience of the luggage at the front desk for one night, the next morning to come.

The family room booked can sleep three people no problem. The hotel reserved the best room with a small balcony where you can sit on the balcony and have a cup of coffee and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Parking is free, which is perfect.

Traditional small English hotel, downstairs is the bar. English breakfast is provided. The house is a wooden structure ➕ later remodeled. The whole hotel is full of paintings and photography about the lake area. The reception is friendly. But note that it is a 20-minute walk from Ambleside.
