Chateau was beautiful but this was more of a 3 star hotel. Room we stayed in was very musty smelling.

Fantastic Castle in région de La Vallée de la Loire. Plenty of Castles to visit inthe nearounds, this one is perfect to spend time and its owner Mr. Olivier is an expert in the art of explaining ineteresting facts about this part of France

What an incredible gem in the loire valley. If you want a very beautiful chateau experience this is the place to be. We went during their shoulder season (November) and it was quiet and lovely. Although there weren’t many amenities open during this time we were treated really well and the owner Olivier provided us with transport options and dining recommendations in the area. The staff were so so nice and accommodating. Olivier shared some stories about the chateau and answered the million of questions we had with enthusiasm. We were exposed to the teams absolute passion for the property. The interior is stunning with a perfect blend of original fixings and new design. The rooms itself was simple with gorgeous views all around. The bathrooms were modern and everything was very clean and well kept. What a wonderful chateau experience!

As an American who was travelling to France for the first time, i was amazed at the beauty of this place and the nearby town of Amboise. The chatteau is like no place i have ever stayed before! I think the chatteau only has maybe 15 rooms or so, which allowed for quality customer service and a quiet environment. We rented a car, which i think was necessary to see the area. But for the one day we did not have a rental, the owner made arrangements for our transportation back to the chatteau. You cant find that type of customer service at a big hotel chain.

What makes a stay all the more memorable is customer service. This Chateau exceeds in friendliness and hospitality. Olivier the owner greeted us as we checked in, every time we saw he himself would chat with us. He was so welcoming and gave us excellent suggestions for places to go and places to eat. Our room was clean, well maintained and comfortable. Our breakfast was delicious and included honey from beehives on the property. The property itself is large. We didn’t have a chance to explore but there are walks and tunnels.

The chateau is built into the cliff face of a former quarry. This means there are some interesting features. The grounds are peaceful and you can walk along the river. It’s a beautiful place. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were lovely.

Lovely stay at the Château in the countryside. The staff was friendly and helpful, plenty of parking, and lovely spacious room. We were offered the option of trading rooms since ours had steep steps to get to the upstairs in our room and I have a knee injury, but we opted to keep it. Fantastic shower and roomy bathroom. My only complaint is that we did not have more time to enjoy the beautiful grounds and pool. Would recommend this hotel and hope to come back when we can spend more time.
