Very clean, good food, and very accommodating staff. They facilitated our request to be moved to a twin with no problems at all, and were able to serve us a tasty meal, even though we arrived late in the evening. Overall, very happy with my experience here.

This hotel is very outdated and desperately in need of updates. Because of its old age, the cleanliness is questionable. I was not able to have a hot shower in the morning, but some other guests we were travelling with were able to enjoy a hot shower in the evenings. Lesson learned, and I made sure to shower in the evening. The buffet breakfast was very good. Note that the hotel does not always have beer available for purchase with dinner. Wi-fi is very spotty/non-existent. Great location with many shops surrounding the hotel. My daughter and I explored the area in the evening, and felt very safe.

a nice hotel.. with pleasant and helpful staff.. rooms are of a good size.. and are cleaned daily if needed.. bed is nice and firm.. Shower facilities and TV and kettle in room.. food is above average.. there are a couple of bars and restaurants in the area..

The 'hotels' in Amman are a long way out of town and a taxi/uber is needed to get to the centre and back. This is the only downside to the hotel. A taxi to the centre will cost around 5 Jordainian Dinars each way (but drivers will try to charge more, so set the price in advance). The rooms were clean, comfortable, well equipped and peaceful. The staff were polite and helpful. Food was good (apart from the first night when options were very poor for everyone for some reason). The sald bar was particularly wonderful. As a vegan I was not short of options and they were very tasty. The area nearby has numerous shopping malls (and cafes inside) and plenty to explore in that regard- there are also a number of English/Irish pubs if required. I would stay here again.

This hotel was a good place for us as it is only a short drive from the airport. We had three nights here. The communal areas are very good although some rooms had tired bathrooms. There was a good choice of foods with a buffet style evening meal and breakfast.

Lovely hotel in a good location, friendly staff who can't do enough for you. There is a shopping mall situated close by where you can get a lovely coffee or pick up some snacks in the supermarket. The gift shop next door is staffed by friendly people and if you're up for haggling you can pick up some lovely souvenirs. Due to the troubles in the areas surrounding Jordan, the hotel was very under-occupied (lots of cancellations) so public areas were deserted but we never felt unsafe and always very welcome.

I think others must have been to a different hotel than us! We stayed twice an orgorganised trip. The hotel is clean but sometimes the hot water runs out in the shower. The beds are very short, we are not tall but our feet hung over the end of the bed. Tall people in our group had to lie diagonally across the bed, difficult when you are a couple. The time for dinner varies according to how many people in the hotel. One day they told us 7.30 only for us to arrive at 7.30 and the restaurant was full with people half way through their meals and no table for us. Food is always a buffet and very monotonous. Food is edible but little variation and not well cooked, it is however plentiful. Not enough staff in restaurant and very slow to clear tables and relay them. Often people had to eat at used tables and go to counter to request cutlery. I wouldn't stay again.

an excellent location near to malls, very friendly staff, rooms are nice and clean with hot water all the time, the food was wonderful with many choices . I will be in Amman in march and will for sure stay at Strand Hotel. thank you all for making my stay comfortable.

Very good stay during our Jordan vacation with my family. The breakfast was good and the dinner was personalized (not buffet), so they were very comfortable days at the hotel. I think you can enjoy a lot in this hotel.
