Cottage 1956 is a special place in the Alsace hills in a chaming village. Easy access to many wineries and Alsace villages while well away from any tourists or crowds, however you do need to drive some curvy roads to get up to the village.The rooms are spacious and luxurious and hosted by a couple that is passionate about making your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Michel provided some absolutely amazing breakfasts and went way above the normal bed and breakfast fare, Every morning Michel made something different which was delicious. The accommodations are sophisticated, elegant, spotless and the food and attention to detail was off the chart. Truly one of the best bed and breakfasts we’ve stayed at in Europe.

très belle demeure entièrement restaurée avec élégance. L'endroit est très calme. Beaucoup d'arbres, de balades balisées a pieds ou a vtt. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec un beau balcon. Le petit déjeuner est sublime. De bon produits et de la variété: salade de fruits, jus de fruits, œuf, bacon, kouglof..... Il manquerait juste une table pour le diner

C'était notre première expérience en maison d'hôtes, étant plutôt habitués à l’hôtellerie 4 étoiles. Et bien Cottage 1956, dont Camille et Michel sont les heureux propriétaires, nous offre le même plaisir, le même confort, le même luxe dans une très belle maison totalement restaurée, entourée d'un superbe parc ombragé, dans un calme absolu. Soucieux de la qualité du détail, chaque prestation est minutieusement préparée afin de satisfaire totalement leurs invités. Notre suite, l'Alchimie des Sens (50 m2 + terrasse) est confortable, lumineuse et luxueusement équipée. Les petits-déjeuners sont servis en chambre, tout comme les diners en supplément, que nous avons choisi pour nos deux soirées. Encore une fois la recherche de produits nobles, bios ou pas, mais principalement du terroir Alsacien, ainsi que les préparations "maison", tout est fait pour notre plaisir et notre satisfaction. Mon ami s'est offert un massage qu'il a beaucoup apprécié. Une des prestations également proposées. Rarement il y a une telle unanimité de satisfaction des clients, mais ici c'est tout à fait justifié. Toutes nos félicitations.
