Beautiful sanctuary of calm and tranquility, the two of us stayed in this wonderful place for two nights in September 2024. Its charm and individuality is quite something with lush green gardens for peaceful sitting. We had a fresh breakfast and one very tasty traditional home cooked evening meal which you can choose prior to going down to dinner earlier in the day. The rooms are charming and clean with a kettle and tea/coffee and bottled water. Everything you also need in the bathroom too. The hotel also arranged a pick up from the airport (we were late due to a delay but it was not a problem) and an early morning drop to the train station both at low additional cost and very easy to organise via their use of what’s app. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble and we would happily stay here again, infact we don’t want to leave!

The hotel is beautiful inside and out especially the gardens, reception and breakfast rooms. How the history of this beautiful house is preserved and shared is lovely and fascinating. The staff are endlessly welcoming. I throughly enjoyed my stay

An oasis in Amritsar. Beautiful gardens and lounges to relax in. Comfortable rooms. Welcoming staff who were kind and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. A perfect hotel for those who prefer to stay in places with character rather than international chains.

A tranquil heaven in the rush and bustle of Amritsar. Set among lush gardens the 200 year old Ranjit Svaasa is a rare find. This family run hotel serves delicious breakfast, snacks and evening meals. The staff were very attentive and helpful. It’s a great introduction to your visit to India. Thank you Ranjit Svaasa.

We stayed 3 nights and had a fantastic experience. The rooms, staff and food are all absolutely superb and one could not wish for a more authentic Indian experience. The staff cannot do enough for you. The rooms are spacious well serviced and offer everything one needs for a very comfortable stay. The food really is quite exceptional and the dinner menu offers such a wide variety of choices. We cannot recommend this hotel too highly for anyone visiting Amritsar.

A wonderful stay with a great team who looked after us so well. The house was full of antiques and had been in the family for 7 generations. The gardens were so well looked after. A real peaceful and quiet haven in the middle of a busy bustling noisy city. A great selection to suit every taste for breakfast and delicious curries for dinner which were very well served by pleasant and efficient staff.

This is the second time I have stayed here and yet again it was marvellous! I love this place - so artistic, quirky and comfortable. SO full of charm and history. We ordered dinner to eat in the dining room and it was absolutely delicious! The room was gorgeous and so comfortable. Cute "Beaker" the resident golden retriever gave me sweet cuddles which made my day. I will definitely stay here if I come to Amritsar again. Thank you everyone at Ranjit's Svaasa!

This is a beautiful heritage hotel in the centre of Amritsar - it’s basically the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel in real life. A very warm welcome, a wonderful quirky ild building which has lots of relaxing rooms where you can read, or soak up the sun on the roof garden. The bedrooms are large and very well appointed. Great breakfast and personally cooked dinner at reasonable prices (they don’t serve alcohol) The staff are very warm and friendly. Excellent wifi
