Generally really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. We have two boys (13 & 10) so appreciated the extra space, living area etc. It’s very close to Muiderport train station - only 1 stop from Central, then a 3-4 min walk. A train goes straight there from Schipol without needing to change. The walk from muiderport isn’t very inspiring but don’t let that put you off. Go exploring in the other direction and you’ll find Oosterpark which is gorgeous to wander through, close by supermarkets and laundrette (which you need as apartments don’t have a washer). And decent cafes & pubs. Great crowd with uni students around. We walked into centre city & back, through the park - it’s easy enough with fit kids. Be aware with these apartments the steps up to the front door are VERY steep so be careful with heavy bags, and then again inside. We were on the lower ground floor and it’s very steep stairs down. There is no change of towels and it’s hard to dry them out - a few extra would be handy. Otherwise great - would recommend, if you’re fit & sturdy on your feet.
