Impeccable service and professionally run. We have a most wonderful stay and the Okura is rightly acclaimed as one of the leading hotels of this part of the world. Surely, there wouldn’t be many other which can lay claim to hosting three michelin rated restaurants.

Wir hatten einen insgesamt sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Hotel Okura. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den äußerst freundlichen Check-in-Prozess – von Anfang an haben wir uns sehr willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Leider gab es einen Minuspunkt: Auf meine besondere Anfrage, die ich sowohl per E-Mail als auch in der Buchung hinterlegt hatte, habe ich nie eine Antwort erhalten. Dadurch war es beim Check-in bereits zu spät für das gewünschte Restaurant, und ich musste kurzfristig eine alternative Location für ein Geburtstagsdinner organisieren, da das Hotelrestaurant ausgebucht war.
Da meine E-Mail scheinbar nicht beim Hotel angekommen ist oder nur teilweise, kam auch die vom Hotel geplante Geburtstagsüberraschung – ein kleines Törtchen mit Karte, was sehr zuvorkommend war – leider am falschen Tag ins Zimmer.
Trotz dieser kleinen Missverständnisse war es insgesamt ein sehr schönes Geburtstagswochenende für meinen Mann, und wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

初めてのアムステルダムでしたので利用しました。
鉄板焼きのレストランも美味しく色々教えていただき良かったです。中央駅や美術館からは少し距離がありますがUberタクシーやトラムを利用しました。安心して過ごせて良かったです。部屋からのビューも素敵でした。

The room is spacious and hotel is in a quiet location. It’s good for a relax or business trip but not recommended for Executive Room. I booked an Executive King room with lounge access. There was no executive counter or express checkin and check out for Executive room guests. I am sad that my executive room was on 5/F whilst the executive lounge is located on 22/F. The lounge provided very limited of food during breakfast, tea and evening cocktails. The coffee machine was broken and food was out of stock frequently. I pre-paid my hotel accommodation, the staff confirmed that during my check-in but they asked me to pay my room during my checkout. It took me some time to talk to manager and settle it.
