A romantic seaside hotel with a great sense of design and excellent service. The river view outside the window at night is as beautiful as Manhattan Island!
Absolutely brilliant ! Booked a single room but got a lovely double with a window. Great online check in/out system. So easy to take the 397 bus from and to the airport to a minutes walk away from hotel and very convenient to walk into downtown attractions whilst being nicely away from the hustle and bustle. Front desk staff lovely, let me leave my bags in locked store room after I checked out while I strolled around town before an evening flight. Would thoroughly recommend for an Amsterdam city break.
Gray located, just few steps from all hot spots. Very unusual design, but rooms are tiny, it’s no place to put the luggage and walk near the bed after
Not very sound proof, we have heard our neighbors very well
And their king bed was just to beds put together

Always a pleasure staying at Marriott here in Amsterdam. This is my 10th. Is it in half as many years and it still upholds to the ethos to today. Excellent hotel with large spacious and tidy rooms. The staff are great and always happy and smiling and eager to assist to make stay memorable. Highly recommended for families and kids and friends as well as business trips. A +++++++
It's a 10-minute walk from the Van Gogh Museum and the National Museum, and a 5-minute walk from Vondelpark. There is bus 397 at the entrance of the park, which goes directly to the airport. This station is only one stop away from the departure station, and there were few people when I got on the bus. The room is very large. The twin room has 0.9-meter beds put together and two quilts. The breakfast is average. Turn right and cross the bridge, it seems to be Leidseplein, with many restaurants. Turn left at the exit of the hotel, turn left at the intersection, and you will see a medium-sized supermarket called ah, where you can buy cold dishes, meat, and vegetables. There is also a machine for recycling plastic bottles.
The room given to us doesn’t have a window for air ventilation. But overall I like it because the location is very nice. Going to city center is easy. And there are many shops and food places nearby.
It was a very clean and up-to-date hotel. I booked a small room and it had everything I needed in it. The staff was friendly and I had a very good rest.
There was just one problem, and the cleaning lady in the morning just opened our door and left it without knocking, so I was very embarrassed... I slept without manually locking it other than the automatic lock... I opened the guest room door carelessly before checking out. I think cleaning staff at hotels need to be trained not to open them. I think this is something the hotel needs to fix.
Booked a double room, but got a triple room instead. A nice, clean and spacious room. The water pressure in the shower was very good and the water was hot. Room temperature was perfect even though it was cold outside. A short walk from Leidscheplein and the tram stations (you can use your contactless credit card on the tram to check-in, don't forget to check out) connecting you to the good spots. Good value for the price, would certainly consider this hotel again on my next visit to Amsterdam.
My only concern was when I checked in they asked me for my email-address. They're allowed to ask of course, but when I told them I don't give out my email they said it was hotel policy and it was required for check in. But he was willing to make an exception for me immediately, so I didn't have to argue about it.
The location is great, there is tram just outside the hotel so you can get to anywhere easily. But the room cleaning take place too early. The reception is nice and friendly as well. The house keeping knock our door at 8am which all of us are still in bed. And they take away one of our room key when we are out without informing us. Which causes us spend a lot time to find where the room key go.
The room was large and comfortable with lots of light. It is very close to the Museum District, with six or seven art museums including the National Gallery of Art, Municipal Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Van Gogh Museum. You can admire classic and avant-garde artworks. There are also luxury streets around, suitable for shopping. In addition, there is a 397 bus to the airport from the station that is a three-minute walk from the hotel. It costs about 4-5 euros to get to the airport. Living here is convenient and affordable, and you can enjoy art to your heart's content.

GGuest UserThe room is very comfortable and large enough. It has coffee, tea, kettle, etc. All in all, a very good stay experience.
MMengxiangshihuanyoushijiedeyongganxiaozhaoThe room is simply furnished and well-equipped. The wifi password is behind the speaker. The only downside is that the shower head does not work well, the water is sometimes hot and sometimes cold, the pillow is uncomfortable (more like a cushion), and I don't understand how to use the washing machine. Overall, it's OK. The transportation nearby is quite convenient, with bus and tram stations...
JJamesThis hotel is decent and has everything you need. It’s a bit far from the centre and feels a bit isolated, but just take the time to explore some of the cafes downstairs and around the nearby streets. It’s also easy to get into the city by tram so in the end it doesn’t feel that far away.
Staff at reception are friendly and helpful on check-in and check-out and answered all my questions giving advice about how to get around Amsterdam and the Netherlands in general.
GGuest UserIncredible building And room with great space And feel. I wasnt very well one the last day of my stay And the Male receptionist was a legend giving me tea And advice how to get better. Felt like a friend at the desk, was a great vibe.
Only downside is the Wifi would come And go as they only have 1000 IP address's so sometimes it drops out after a couple hours.
Would defo stay there again, great value for money when i went
LLIN YUEH-KUNG/The room was clean and comfortable, the toilet was spacious and bright, and the overall feeling was not bad! This time I stayed in Room 301, the room had a small rumbling resonance sound, resulting in no good sleep.
GGerhard SiegfriedThe transport from Railway Station Centraal with bus #22 takes 20 minutes to the end station Sloterdijk. It cost 1 €. You also can use the train from Centraal to Sloterdijk. From here, there are direct trains to the Amsterdam airport and further to Belgium, France etc. From Sloterdijk you can walk in 15 Minutes to Dutchies hostel.
The big advantage is they have a kitchen where you can cook by yourself. There are refrigerators, an oven, a sink for cleaning and all equipment for cooking and eating like plates, kettles, glasses, cups etc.
TTrenti MatteoThe location is good, easy to reach by taxi or tram, walking distance to Jordaan but the neighbourhood is not touristic, it’s a local neighbourhood with nice bars and restaurants, and charming canals to the west. Walking distance to the food hallen and vondelpark. The room was on the ground floor facing an inner garden, very quiet
GGuest UserLocated in the western part of the old city, the hotel has historical traces of the building, the service staff is enthusiastic, the location is convenient, and the surrounding area is full of museums. It is suitable for friends who like it. It is worth recommending. The disadvantage is that the room is not soundproof and the room is small.
GGuest UserThe location is very good as it is close to everywhere. The employees are helpful. The only problem is the noise outside. It is ideal for a one-night stay. I recommend it.
