An awesome team. I mean the location is great of course. But the hotel is well run with a welcoming caring team that looked after the family so very well. It is a shame that we only had booked one night. There is clearly more to explore in Angers. And there would be no better place than at this hotel.

Hotel is at the best location in town, and the staff is super friendly and welcoming! We enjoyed our stay a lot and the room was very clean and had an amazing view of he castle. The only drawback we could find was the lack of airconditioning, as we were staying there during a small heatwave. the fan in room was good, but still got very hot.

Received extremely helpful routing advice for bike trip beginning in Angers from two very friendly staff members. One even called our bike rental company for us to clear up a misunderstanding. Room is in great location and very-well appointed.

First, I must start with the hotel's hosts. They were all fantastic...attentive and friendly service, as well as well-thought advice on things to see and do in the city they all clearly love. Also helped me with some insights into the French culture. They are simply wonderful, and can't thank them enough for helping make my stay such a good one. I stayed more than a week at this hotel, in one of their premium courtyard view rooms. The room was a good size, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and it was quiet, which is what I was looking for. The room--as well as the rest of the hotel and the café-- were kept very clean. Shower had good pressure and the water was hot. The wi-fi never dropped. There is an armoire and some shelves, as well as a place to store two pieces of luggage. Also, there was a kettle with tea/coffee. Breakfast was good--I found it as described by other reviewers. I was able to get a table with a view of the castle as well as the city waking up in the morning. The best thing about breakfast is the endless supply of good, espresso-based coffee. Definitely a plus! The location is incredibly convenient. It's an easy 5-10 minute walk to the train station, and the old town is just outside the door. Lots of good museums, churches, historic buildings, restaurants, chocolate shops and bakeries within easy walking distance. Also walkable are some beautiful parks--some more formal, others more natural. This is one aspect of the city that I wasn't expecting but found that I really enjoyed. And, again, the suggestions of the hosts were very helpful and most appreciated. I hope to stay at this welcoming, small hotel again, and can recommend it highly to anyone planning a stay in the city of Angers.

This is a great hotel with very friendly staff both at evening check in and morning breakfast. Breakfast was lovely. Dog friendly. Great location to see the old city and super fast to get out of Angers to travel north.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Individual and tasteful decor. Excellent location. Free parking nearby. Very comfortable beds. Everything in working order. Excellent value for money. Breakfast is excellent. Would definitely recommend.
