Almost the city center (5-10 min to the shore and to the castle). Thanks to the discount on trip.com stopped almost free (less than 50 euros per night). For such money - a chic hotel. Classic repair, friendly people on the respiratory. Big room (though a single) with a bathtub. Good breakfast (baking, cutting, yoghurt, fruit, muscles, etc.).
If you spend the night in this city, it's a great hotel. The location is very good, the surroundings are very quiet, and there are very good restaurants nearby. If you had stayed here, you would not have chosen another hotel.
What a lovely hotel in a lovely city. Although it has Centre Gare in its name the hotel is some way from the station, about a 10-15 minute walk. It is on the Tramway which stops right outside the hotel. What makes this hotel special is the young staff, they work as team from reception to the housekeepers nothing is too much trouble. Loredana on reception epitomised all that is good about the hotel. Helpful, efficient with much bonhomie. The breakfast room was kept up-to-date and there was a wide range of choice to suit all needs. The room was modest but kept impeccably clean by friendly housekeepers. The very minor negative was the toilet tissue and not toilet roll, as all travellers know this can be an issue. The Manager of this hotel should take great credit and pride in the team he/she has built. It was the the polar opposite of the Nantes hotel reviewed later.

The hotel is housed in a classical French building, only one road from the railway station. The city of Angers is very quiet, as is the surrounding area of the train station, it is not noisy at all, and there are no messes. The hotel rooms are large and the interior is decorated in a classic style. The breakfast was quite satisfactory. Recommended.
We had a rental car with us, so having some spaces out front of this hotel to temporarily park our car to unload our luggage to check in was priceless. There is a garage near by just a short walk away. The front desk staff were always friendly. English speaking so that was helpful since our French is very poor. The location is superb. Restaurants, patisserie, small grocery store, café all just steps away. We also walked to visit Chateau Angers and the cathedral from here. No need to drive anywhere. In the early morning, there were street noise noticeable from delivery and road traffic. Some notes for travelers: the hotel did not have AC. Only on the ground level with AC where reception is located. That was tough for the afternoon since it was warm. But once the sun went down, we were able to open the windows to let some cool air in. Also, the hotel does have an elevator, but that is on a floor up. If you are unable to lift luggage or walk stairs, need to keep that in mind. The front desk does assist with luggage if needed.
Quirky quiet hotel a very short walk from main city square. Tricky to find due to narrow one way streets around hotel. The only way to access is via bd du marechal Foch, then rue David d’angers, then rue des ursules. Parking available in courtyard at 15 euro per night. There is an underground car park close by but no on street parking. A few odd things about this place . Car keys to be left at reception! Reception closed at 8, no staff anywhere to be seen! Also means you can’t get access to car after 8. They ask you to leave room key hanging on board in a public area if you leave the hotel. Never seen this anywhere else. It’s a massive security red flag especially as there is no safe in the room. We ignored and kept key on us. Room was clean and comfortable, as was the bed. In bathroom no shower, just shower attachment in bath Outside the hotel in one direction a nice city park. In the other direction the theatre square where you will find the main shopping streets restaurants etc. recommend “le pub” decent food and service. In town you will see a blue line on many of the streets. Follow this for all the main tourist sights. It’s a circular route and shown on tourist maps. Overall it’s a reasonably price well located comfortable place for a stop overstay. No bar No lift

Excellent
GGuest UserA lot of positive points. First, the greetings, the kindness, the availability and the advice from my host. The simplicity for the transportation with Jalla ( Again, a big thanks to him for bringing me everywhere! ). Also, the beauty of the spot, really calm, spacious, and a quality bedding. The three-filled garden. The pool is really appreciated. Finally, the greatest quality of the food. Some delicious dishes and really copious. A superb marrocan cook culture with a lot of different dishes cooked with heart, and trust me you can feel it. I really recommend this guest house and I will probably come back again as soon as possible!
GGuest UserWe have stayed at this lovely hotel for the past three years as it is the perfect stopover when driving from the UK to the île de Re. Thomas is always friendly and welcoming. The rooms are stylish and spacious and the breakfast which can be served on the enclosed terrace, weather permitting, is delicious. Easy parking nearby. We love this charming small hotel. Angers is a lovely town with interesting buildings and a stunning cathedral and castle. Highly recommended.
LLimThis hotel deserves better reviews. The room was huge and very thoughtfully designed. Very clean too. Also appreciated the parking which was private and secure - connected to the main building.
YyuyumomThe U supermarket next to the hotel is very convenient. The rooms have microwaves, coffee filters, kettles, all kinds of pots and pans, as well as refrigerators and electric stoves.
Live here many times, every time you come to Angers, you must choose
Petite chambre mais le matelas est excellent. Equipement standard. Accès facile depuis l'axe Paris/Tours/Nantes/Le Croisic. A proximité aussi du centre-ville piétons, du Château, promenades en bateaux sur La Maine, etc... Parc souterrain de stationnement à...200mètres. Chambres calmes. Accueil parfait. Petits-déjeuners moyens.
GGuest UserI stayed to catch an early train in the morning. Perfect location across from the train station. I stayed in the single room and it was very clean but not much of a view but sun did come in. Black out curtains as well. Looks like a recent renovation. There was an elevator for my large suitcase. Staff was friendly. Resto/ food options nearby. Internet worked fine while I worked on a small desk. Lots of plugs. I would stay again.
MMark EThe images on the website must have been from years ago when the hotel was first built or when it was last refurbished if it has ever been refurbished. The condition of the hotel fixtures and fittings was very poor and dilapidated. The staff were very welcoming but none of them could speak a word of English. To be fair I can’t speak French but I’m not the host. There was some reason that the roads around the hotel were all closed off, it was either for the market or possibly because the authorities were expecting unrest due to protests over the French elections. This meant we couldn’t drive to the car park by the hotel and had to park a good 0.5km walk away and carry our heavy luggage to the hotel. I appreciate that this was not the hotels fault but they could have let guests know before their arrival instead of us driving round and round trying to find a route to the hotel. We were a group of 4 in 2 cars driving from Northern Spain through France to the UK. We stayed in hotels San Sebastián, Bordeaux, Saint Amelia (chateau) Vanes, and Honfleur staying in hotels everyone of which were superb but whilst the bed was very comfortable that was the only positive about this hotel in Angers.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. All people who neglect the state of the hotel should question themselves on their real needs, the hotel is very well located and equipped for a price that challenges any competition, you cannot have the comfort of a 4 stars! We recognize the French spirit with so disobbedient criticism I RECOMMEND +
The average price for hotels in Angers is AED 446 on weekdays, and AED 458 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
