Set in the SW of St Lucia away from the more popular resorts in the north and closer to the main attractions of the island: volcanic sulphur springs, the Pitons and good hiking trails, botanical gardens and waterfall, cocoa plantations & Hotel Chocolat tours. A rental car or taxi is needed to access these activities – and driving on the island is not for the fainthearted as winding roads are potholed, falling away, and cross streams! Especially exciting in the dark. Tet Rouge is the epitome of calm and relaxation with only 6 suites (including indoor and outdoor showers – note, water pressure is low) an infinity pool, amazing views, a small bar and restaurant and THE best, most professional, hospitable and accommodating team of staff. It feels like a family business and every guest is made to feel part of that family in an unintrusive way. The team headed by Garvin, could not have done more for us: suggesting and booking restaurants, activities, taxis (when we really didn’t want to drive in the dark!), and sharing their experiences and love of the island. Tet Rouge has its own restaurant where we ate on 3 occasions and would also recommend the Mango Tree restaurant (in a gated resort) near Sugar Beach for its amazing views and sunsets, and the Treetops Indian fusion restaurant the other side of Soufriere (part of Crystals hotel resort) for their tasting menu in a quirky setting.

We loved our stay at Tet Rouge. Spacious room, outdoor (and indoor) shower, delicious food and drinks! Stunning view from our room and from the pool/dining area. All of The staff members are super kind, accommodating and helpful with planning things to do. Free breakfast every morning. You do need to either rent a car (which we did) or ask Gavin or George to help set up a taxi. Great location, close to our favorite beach, Sugar Beach. We had a family emergency and we were sad we had to leave early. Gavin called the owners immediately and they graciously refunded us our last 2 nights so we could fly home and be present with our family. Thank you Tet Rouge!

Great resort to get away from every the crowds very quiet wonderful staff manager is so informative Mario was great I'm getting us into town the local Beach is so quiet does take a bit of a hike to get to the beach. Little pricey to get into town with taxi generally round trip around 60 $70 without tip but I don't think I would want to drive on those narrow roads and trying to pass each other

We only spent one night at Tet Rouge after 8 nights at a mega resort on the north end of the island. It didn’t take us long to wish we had spent more time at Tet Rouge. It is remote and the roads become narrower and narrower as you approach. That all translates into tranquility once you arrive. We were greeted by George. He saw us to our room and then took care of our every need for the afternoon and night. The service is great. We spent the afternoon around the pool with the Pitons in view. The grounds are beautiful. Multiple hummingbird sightings. Dinner was very good. We spent the night enjoying a sky full of stars. Garvin (pronounced Gavin), the manager, is a wealth of information. We met Samantha at breakfast and she introduced to a local favorite fruit, sour sop. Delicious. The setting is beautiful, private and quiet. The staff is wonderful. We will be back.

Lovely hotel a great way to experience the real St Lucia … it is very quiet so I am not we would have wanted to stay more than 4 days but that’s personal choice The rooms are lovely very romantic and well equipped.. I loved the out door shower my partner wasn’t so keen as the mosquitoes seem to like him !! The food was great although it did get a little bit boring after a few day we went to their sister restaurant one night which was delicious and only a short journey away The staff were very nice and it was a great base to explore the south of the island It’s very tranquil and relaxing… I would recommend taking a good bug spray it’s in the middle of no where and the wild life is interesting we both got bitten quite badly but obviously that’s not down to the resort , the repellent we took was DEET free so I think you need to get one that contains DEET we did find this in Soufriere All in all would recommend this lovely hotel , we never managed to stay up beyond about 9pm nothing goes on except dinner but it was nice to feel refreshed and relaxed

My husband and just returned from Tet Rouge and we loved our stay. From the minute we arrived, everyone went out of their way to make us feel at home. It is such a beautiful place to relax, find peace and tranquility, spend the day gazing at the horizon and the night looking at the stars. Our room was great & the bed was so comfortable. We slept well! Our breakfast daily was delicious and our lunch of ceviche and roti was so good. We asked about local cuisine for break fast and the staff and chefs made it happen. We felt very special. The manager, Gavin, helped with our activities and excursions. Making it all so easy. A huge thank you to Mario, Corey, George, Mike, Samantha, Gavin, the whole staff! for making our stay so special and memorable.

My husband and I had a wonderfully relaxing 10 night stay at Têt Rouge this past April. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and spacious, the food was excellent as were the cocktails and breakfast came with delicious fresh tropical fruits and fruit juices every day and all the staff was so wonderfully caring and informative. While the hotel can set you up with a driver who will take you to visit anywhere on the island, Garvin, the hotel manager, will always recommend you rent a car and rive yourself around and he is right. However, do make sure you are a confident driver and are willing to drive on the left before booking a car, as the road conditions can be a challenge and do not allow for any distraction. I was fine driving on the Island, but coming from Canada and living with ice and snow six months out of the year, not much bothers me behind the wheel and I had already driven on the left a few times before arriving. Some things you will encounter while driving are potholes, multiple hairpin turns, steep hills, unpaved roads and no lane divisions anywhere. The bottom line is, Têt Rouge is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for an authentic Saint Lucian experience with caring, personalized service and honest advice on how best to enjoy the Island. It is 100% calm and secluded but definitely not big American style all inclusive which was so delightful for us. We 100% recommend Têt Rouge for anyone looking for a truly authentic local Saint Lucian experience and want to thank Garvin and all the staff once again for our wonderful stay!

What sets this resort apart from its north end, all inclusive, mega resorts is its location and its staff. The crew at Tet Rouge are simply the best. Gavin is the manager who can fulfill whatever you desire. Any request was answered with a smile and “no problem”. I can’t think of anywhere else we have vacationed where we knew the staff by first names. Melissa, George, Corey, Quint, Samantha and Mike are all wonderful hosts who made us feel welcome not only to Tet Rouge but also to their community.
