Very noisy at night with main road at front. Lot of noise from its pub open to public 1.30 am. Breakfast every morning for 7 days was the same choice of three plastic slices on meat and a slice of plastic cheese. Receptionist never even look up on entering.

In Antequera, you can easily pay more for a hotel and get much less—especially during peak season (April–May and September–October). We really appreciated the excellent location, charming vintage architecture, and, above all, the great value. Our room faced a very busy street, which was a downside, but it became much quieter after 9 p.m. The attached parking is also a major plus.

Set in a great location we had a one night stop in this hotel. I paid around £55 for one night for 3 of us which I found great value for money . It wasn’t the best hotel we’ve stayed in but it definitely wasn’t the worst . It was a maze of corridors , after a few moments of searching we found our room ,even with instructions on check in . Like the whole hotel the room was very clean but basic , it had a tv and en suite facilities, our room had a Juliet balcony overlooking the picturesque square , I had a good nights sleep although there was a little traffic noise around 6 am as the locals were probably off to work . All in all very friendly clean and cheap hotel great for a night or two

Although this hotel is in a good location, I would have to say it wasn’t up to standard. The fridge door was on the floor, the handle on the bath was loose and the room wasn’t cleaned the whole week I was there. The only thing that was done were the beds and the bin was emptied. The breakfast was ok but the staff weren’t friendly at all. A great disappointment.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. It is very dark and the rooms are depressing. No outside space to relax after a long hot day. If you don’t go to breakfast dead on 8 there is not any thing decent left to eat. A very poor choice to eat. Only good if staying one night not a week, was glad to leave after a week.

We had the choice of two hotels on our organized holiday - the Coso Viejo in the town centre of Antequera or a much more modern hotel in the suburbs. It is an old hotel/meson in the centre of an old town - Antequera ia a very interesting place in its own right. The room was small but comfortable with air conditioning. There is a lovely central covered courtyard but in my view it is under used as an amenity. The hotel has a bar - restaurant but they have the most prominent tables in the square across the street. There are plenty of other restaurants, bars and shops nearby. The breakfast is tradition meson-style but is fine. A good, historic place to stay.

We stayed here as part of a Newmarket tour to Andalusia. It was a lovely hotel, from the outside nothing special but inside had a lovely Spanish feel and was spotlessly clean. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. There is an attached restaurant next door where breakfast served and the food in an evening is lovely. The hotel is ideally situated, very central with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. As people have commented it can be noisy at the front of the hotel so if you are a light sleeper ask for a room at the back. That said, I’m not a great sleeper but a pair of earplugs and a few glasses of 2Euro glasses of wine from the restaurant and I slept well!

We stayed here as part of a Newmarket Holiday Trip. The hotel is great, full of Spanish charm. The staff are really helpful. We ate several times, were served fresh, great value food. Beautiful wine 2 euros a glass!!! Great location, in the old town. I had a room at the front of the hotel, I am a heavy sleeper, a few people complained about the house of cars. Maybe ask for a rear facing room if you are noise sensitive. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Would love to return.
