The Yellow House is a good place to stay in Antigua without braking the bank. My room wasn't very big, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. There's no AC but it wasn't neccessary and I slept with the windows open. As mentioned the bathrooms are shared, but they were kept very clean and were fine. The breakfast was tasty and was very filling if you wanted it to be. Very friendly and helpful staff too.

Yellow House was a safe haven when I had to get out of the guesthouse I booked online due to safety issues at Casa Miranda. It was Christmas Day and everywhere was booked and I was desperately searching for a safe place to sleep. The staff at Yellow House stayed late and helped me. Sadly they only had a room for that night, I would have liked to stay longer. But I so appreciate the kindness they showed me.

This hostel is absolutely perfect. It is right in the center of Antigua, friendly staff, good breakfast, and immaculately clean. This hostel by far had the cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen. Definitely recommend for an affordable and lovely place to stay in Antigua.

Great place, very convenient and safe location. Beautifully decorated hostel with lots of bright colours and green leafy plants everywhere. Fantastic breakfast served very efficiently. Bed is very comfy. Only downside is only three showers for lots of rooms. All in all would highly recommend staying here.

The yellow house is, in our opinion, the perfect accommodation in Antigua! The staff was very friendly, complimentary breakfast was outstanding and the unique decor was very enjoyable. We arranged a shuttle to pick us up from the airport which worked out very well - just email the staff and they can arrange. Shared washrooms were very clean and well maintained.

We loved our stay here! The room was luxurious, bed was so comfortable! Room was cleaned daily, staff were lovely and the ladies on the front desk spoke great English. The shared bathroom is cleaned constantly. The hotel is central & close to everything. Me and my partner had a double room, with private balcony, we watched the volcano erupt daily. The breakfast is great, good size & the hot chocolate is to die for. If we were to come back would stay here again. Stay here! You will not be disappointed!

Estoy tratando de pagar la reserva en booking y ellos son el único hotel que no acepta ningún método de pago. Literalmente ya intente con American Express, Mastercard, Visa y tarjetas de débito y todo lo declinan y cuando te pones en contacto con ellos te dicen que no pueden hacer nada y que no te pueden ofrecer ningún otro método de pago. O sea que anuncian habitaciones disponibles que no puedes reservar de ninguna manera. Y cuando pides hablar con algún superior que pueda darte una solución te dicen que no hay nadie y que solo es con el área de recepción y ya. O sea para ellos las cosas son así y ya, si te parece, que bueno, sino ni modo, porque no hay ningún otro modo de hacer las cosas. Incluso hablé con booking y ellos trataron de hablar con los del hotel para respetar la reserva que ya tenía hecha y solo era cuestión de pagarlo y no quisieron respetarla.

Me encantó el desayuno! Mucha comida y todo muy rico, Justo lo que ocupábamos después de bajar el volcán. La cama también muy cómoda.Siempre estuvieron atentos a nuestras necesidades incluso nos dieron un shot del licor típico de Guatemala cuando veníamos llegando del Acatenango. Recomendado.
