The house in which the apartment is located belongs to a small complex with only twelve natural stone houses / apartments in Kalathas on the Akrotiri peninsula, at a gorge (nature reserve) above the sea. You have a wonderful view of the gorge, which blooms all year round, and also of the sea. From here a bus goes to Chania every 30 minutes, it takes about two hours to walk the very beautiful route along the coast. If you wish, you can also hire a car from Heraklion airport or the bus station in Chania. Another option is to fly to Athens. From here there is a flight to Chania six times a day, it takes 45 minutes. From Athens you can also take a short sea trip and take the ferry to Souda.
